Abstract: A method for making iridium oxide nanoparticles includes dissolving an iridium salt to obtain a salt-containing solution, mixing a complexing agent with the salt-containing solution to obtain a blend solution, and adding an oxidating agent to the blend solution to obtain a product mixture. A molar ratio of a complexing compound of the complexing agent to the iridium salt is controlled in a predetermined range so as to permit the product mixture to include iridium oxide nanoparticles.

The optical system may include a light gate having an opening to permit the beam of light, from the reflector, to travel through the opening. The optical system may include a light sensor to receive a portion of the beam of light after the beam of light travels through the opening, and convert the portion of the beam of light to a signal. The optical system may include a processing device to determine whether a notch of a wafer is in an allowable position based on the signal.

Abstract: A golf club head includes a head body having a front flat surface as a striking face and a hollow room formed behind the front surface and a rear cap. The rear cap is pushed in the hollow room contacting with an annular edge of the hollow room, fixedly closed on the opening of the hollow room, and welded together with the head body. Then liquid non-metal material is filled in a hollow pinched layer formed between the rear cap and the hollow room, becoming a buffer block after cooled. The buffer block has a proper softness and hardness, absorbing vibration of a ball to give stability to the golf club when the ball is hit by the golf club head.

Abstract: A golf driver club head is provided that has a neck with a hole for receiving a lower end of a golf club shaft therein. The neck also extends obliquely from a heel portion of the head toward the striking face. The impact point on the face of the head forms a narrower angle with respect to the center line of the shaft. By that arrangement, the golf driver club head can hit a ball to follow a straight trajectory.

The heel has a wall section that is thicker than that of the neck to lower the center of gravity of the body.
