    Abstract: A cooking assembly includes a tray unit mounted detachably on a base member, and a plug. The tray unit includes a cooking tray, and a socket casing fixed to the cooking tray. The plug is insertable into the socket casing. A spring-biased latch is disposed movably in the socket casing, and is pushed by the plug to move from a first position to a second position upon insertion of the latter into the socket casing. The latch engages the base member when the latch is disposed at the second position, and disengages the base member when the latch is disposed at the first position.
