  • Patent number: 6404294
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit may be configured to generate an output signal having a frequency that varies in response to (i) a voltage signal and (ii) a load. The second circuit may be configured to generate the load by coupling one or more resistive devices to a reference node in response to a control signal.

  • Patent number: 6381145
Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a chassis (60) and a hood (10) attached to the chassis. The chassis includes a rear panel (90) defining a slot (91) and a pair of side flanges (71). Each side flange defines a number of cutouts (74) and a number of slits (75) exposed to the cutouts, respectively. The hood has a pair of side walls (30) and a J-shaped catch (40) extending from a rear flange (32) between the side walls. The catch of the hood is received in the slot of the chassis, allowing the hood to be rotatable with respect to the chassis between an open position and a closed position while being selectively removable from the chassis when at the open position. The J-shaped catch engages with the slot for supporting the hood at the open position. Each side wall has a number of latches (31) for being received in the cutouts and moved into the slits of the chassis thereby securely fixing the hood to the chassis when the hood is at the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6369660
Abstract: A circuit and/or method comprising an oscillator circuit, a pulse detection circuit and a control circuit. The oscillator circuit may be configured to generate an output signal having a frequency in response to (i) a first control signal and (ii) a second control signal. The pulse detection circuit may be configured to generate a detect signal in response to the output signal. The control circuit may be configured to generate the second control signal in response to said detect signal.

  • Patent number: 6286916
Abstract: A computer bezel is adapted for mounting on a computer enclosure having a data storage device attached thereto. The computer bezel comprises a base and a drive cover attached to the base. The base has a pair of arms and the drive cover is pivotable about the arms of the base. The drive cover is adapted to be pivoted about the computer enclosure for exposing the computer enclosure to an outer space thereby facilitating assembling of the data storage device to the computer enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6273532
Abstract: A computer enclosure comprises a chassis and a hood attached to the chassis. The chassis has a latch resiliently and pivotably attached thereto. The latch forms a protrusion and an ejector. The hood has a fixing tab defining a fixing hole for engagingly receiving the protrusion of the latch therein thereby fixing the hood to the chassis. The fixing tab forms a bent end for ejection by the ejector of the latch thereby detaching the hood from the chassis.

  • Patent number: 6257682
Abstract: A computer casing includes a side panel releasably attached thereto for covering an opening defined in a side wall thereof. The side panel has a first edge from which a perpendicular flange extends. Anchoring tabs perpendicularly extend from the flange. A step is formed on a corresponding edge of the opening with slots defined therein to receive the anchoring tabs with the flange abutting against the step thereby effectively eliminating electromagnetic radiation emitted through the opening. A plurality of locking tabs are formed on an opposite second edge of the side panel. Cutouts are defined in a rear wall of the casing corresponding to the locking tabs. A locking rod movably attached to a rear wall defines a plurality of openings corresponding to the cutouts whereby the locking tabs are allowed to extend through both the cutouts of the casing and the openings of the locking rod when the locking rod is at an unlocked position.

  • Patent number: 5755503
Abstract: An illumination system having improved efficiency and uniformity for an image projection apparatus. The illumination system is employed for supplying an optical radiation beam along a principal axis to illuminate an object which, in a plane perpendicular to the principal axis, has a non-round cross-section. The illumination system includes: a light source for emitting light beams; a reflective mirror, having a plurality of reflective curved surfaces for reflecting the light beams emitted from the light source to form a plurality of reflective beams; and a lens plate, having a plurality of lenses, each of the plurality of lenses corresponding to a reflective curved surface of the reflective mirror to project the plurality of reflective beams onto the object, so that the plurality of reflective beams are superimposed on the object and produce a uniform illumination.
