  • Patent number: 10412815
Abstract: A lighting system and a multi-mode lighting device thereof are provided. The multi-mode lighting device includes a wireless communication unit, a lighting unit, a projection unit, and a processing unit. The processing unit is coupled to the wireless communication unit, the lighting unit, and the projection unit. The processing unit is configured to selectively operate in one of multiple modes, wherein the multiple modes include a lighting mode and a projection mode. The processing unit is adapted to control the lighting unit to provide illumination light when the processing unit operates in the lighting mode. The processing unit is adapted to receive a video signal provided by an electronic device via the wireless communication unit and control the projection unit to project an image based on the video signal when the processing unit operates in the projection mode.

  • Publication number: 20170280120
Abstract: A projection system and a method for correcting projection image are provided. The projection system includes a projection target, a projection apparatus and an image capturing device. The projection target includes a reference pattern, and receives an image beam to display a projection image in collaboration with the image beam. The projection apparatus projects the image beam to the projection target. The image capturing device captures a captured image having the projection image, and outputs the captured image to the projection apparatus. The projection apparatus adjusts a projection parameter of the image beam according to the projection image in the captured image. Based on the adjusted projection parameter, the corrected projection image displayed by the image beam corresponds to the reference pattern.

  • Publication number: 20170041579
Abstract: A projection system, a projection apparatus and a projection method of the projection system are provided. The projection apparatus of the projection system projects an image according to image data, and captures subtitle information included in the image data. A projection unit of the projection apparatus projects the image. A control unit of the projection unit is coupled to the projection unit for capturing subtitle information. A communication unit of the projection apparatus is coupled to the control unit. A network device of the projection system stores subtitle comparison information. The communication unit communicates with the network device, and is controlled by the control unit to transmit the subtitle information to the network device. The network device compares the subtitle information with the subtitle comparison information to acquire video information corresponding to the image data.
