    Abstract: An object detection device is provided in the invention. The object detection device includes an image-extraction device and a processor. The image-extraction device extracts a plurality of images and a plurality of depth images in a specific space, wherein each image corresponds to one of the depth images. The processor may detect objects in each image using an object detection model to obtain object information. The processor may calculate the depth value of each object in each depth image. The processor may input the depth value of each object into an object status model to determine the object status of each object. The processor may determine whether to enter the specific space based on the object information and the object status of each object. Therefore, the object detection device provided in the invention will be able to determine a suitable time to enter the specific space.

    Abstract: A method for generating a 3D image and an electronic apparatus using the same method are proposed. The method includes: capturing a plurality of images corresponding to a plurality of focal lengths, where there are a plurality of focal length differences between the focal lengths; selecting a reference image from the images, and taking the reference image as a 3D reference plane in a 3D space; performing an edge detection to each of the images according to a sharpness reference value to find at least one contour corresponding to the sharpness reference value in each of the images; arranging each of the images in the 3D space based on each of the focal length differences and the 3D reference plane; performing an interpolation operation between the at least one contour of each of the images to generate a 3D image.

    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment provides a mobile device. The mobile device includes a display panel, a touch panel, and a processing unit. The display panel displays images. The touch panel detects a gesture and receives a sensing signal corresponding to the gesture, wherein the touch panel further calculates at least one contact point produced by the gesture according to the sensing signal, and produces at least one trigger signal according to the contact point. The processing unit operates at a first operating frequency when the mobile device is in a normal operating mode, and operates at a second operating frequency lower than the first operating frequency when the mobile device is in a hibernate mode, wherein the mobile device turns off the processing unit and the display panel in the hibernate mode, and the touch panel continues to detect the gesture in the hibernate mode.

A connection application is installed in each of at least two pieces of UE respectively. First UE performs setting for connecting to an electronic device by a default mode and generates the barcode pattern accordingly. Then, an image capture unit of second UE is activated to capture the barcode pattern. The barcode pattern is analyzed by the connection application of the second UE, so as to obtain a plurality of parameters of connection setting in regard to the electronic device. Connection setting is performed automatically according to the parameters, such that the second UE connects to the electronic device and performs data transmission.

    Abstract: A method for controlling an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display is described. While the electronic device is in a user-interface lock state, an unlock image is displayed and contact with the unlock image on the touch-sensitive display is detected. In response to a detected contact on the unlock image, a circle with a predefined radius is displayed, and at least one functional icon is displayed on the boundary of the circle. When a detected contact is moving toward the functional icon, a circular trapezoid is displayed and expands from an arc where the functional icon is placed, towards the outside of the circle. When the detected contact moves to and stops at the functional icon, the electronic device transitions from the user-interface lock state to a processing state, and a function corresponding to the functional icon is executed.
