  • Patent number: 9817629
Abstract: An audio synchronization method for Bluetooth speakers is disclosed. The Bluetooth speakers comprise a first Bluetooth speaker and a second Bluetooth speaker transmitting digital audio packets by Bluetooth communication. The method comprises steps of: fetching the sample counts of the first Bluetooth speaker and the second Bluetooth speaker at the first timing; and adjusting the sample rate of the second Bluetooth speaker according to the sample counts of the first Bluetooth speaker and the second Bluetooth speaker. By using the method of the present invention, the sample counts are checked periodically to keep the Bluetooth speakers audio synchronized.

  • Patent number: 9794393
Abstract: A Bluetooth audio packet sharing method comprises an electronic device, a first Bluetooth speaker and at least one second Bluetooth speaker. The electronic device establishes Bluetooth connection with the first Bluetooth speaker by a Bluetooth link information, and the first Bluetooth speaker is able to receive an audio packet from the electronic device. The electronic device or the first Bluetooth speaker broadcasts the Bluetooth link information. The second Bluetooth speaker is close to the electronic device and the first Bluetooth speaker, and receives the link information broadcasted by the first Bluetooth device. Thus, the second Bluetooth speaker is able to receive or share the audio packet transmitted by the electronic device by the Bluetooth link information.

  • Patent number: 9609465
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-role Bluetooth device and more particularly to a multi-role Bluetooth handset. The multi-role Bluetooth device stores a plurality of SDPs (Service Discovery Protocols), and establishes Bluetooth connection with an electronic device by one of SDPs. The multi-role Bluetooth device can establish Bluetooth connection with the electronic device by a first SDP, and transmit and/or receive data to the electronic device each other via Bluetooth connection. Furthermore, the multi-role Bluetooth device also can establish Bluetooth connection with the electronic device by a second SDP, and transmit a control signal to the electronic device via Bluetooth connection to control the electronic device to execute particular function thereof.

  • Patent number: 7440405
Abstract: A system and method for forwarding data packets with quality of service and rate control. A plurality of data packets are received from a plurality of sources. The header information of each data packet is extracted and compared against a plurality of tables, and then new header information is assembled based upon the comparison results. The data packets have their headers replaced by the new header information on the fly before being sent to their destinations, or the new header information may be dropped if certain conditions are met.

  • Patent number: 5941948
Abstract: The present invention discloses a network access admission controller and the method used to determine its schedulability. The basic principle involves determining, for all the connections to be checked, if there is any time slot, among all the time slots within a cycle, that will satisfy the scheduling property without the possible misjudgment of schedulability found in the conventional technology. The inventive method of determining schedulability makes its judgment based on packets issued by all the connections and on each of these connections individually. In particular, a determination is made regarding whether there is a particular time slot, among all the time slots, corresponding to the cycle of connection under evaluation, such that all the time slots prior to it are capable of processing the previously issued packets from the connections having higher priority than this particular time slot.
