    Abstract: To program in a nonvolatile memory device including a cell region including first metal pads and a peripheral region including second metal pads and vertically connected to the cell region by the first metal pads and the second metal pads, a memory block is provided with a plurality of sub blocks disposed in a vertical direction where the memory block includes a plurality of cell strings each including a plurality of memory cells connected in series and disposed in the vertical direction. A plurality of intermediate switching transistors are disposed in a boundary portion between two adjacent sub blocks in the vertical direction. Each of the plurality of intermediate switching transistors is selectively activated based on a program address during a program operation. The selectively activating each of the plurality of intermediate switching transistors includes selectively turning on one or more intermediate switching transistors in a selected cell string based on the program address.

    Abstract: A receiver comprises two tuners and a DC-to-DC converter (DCC) for generating an increased supply voltage (VH) on the basis of a main supply voltage. Each tuner comprises a tunable circuit (TUC1), which can be tuned by means of a tuning voltage (VT1). Each tuner further comprises a tuning control circuit (TCC1) that is coupled to the DC-to-DC converter (DCC) via a load circuit (LD1) for generating the tuning voltage (VT1). The load circuit (LD1) of at least one of the two tuners comprises a branch (D1) coupled to receive the main supply voltage (VCC). The branch (D1) is conductive when the tuning voltage (VT1) is within a voltage range substantially comprised between 0 and the main supply voltage (VCC).

    Abstract: In a local oscillator for a tuning arrangement for both TV and FM signals there is substantial risk of parasitic oscillation. A special provision is disclosed for effectively reducing this risk. The special provision is a connection of a damping resistor (R1a) for suppressing parsitic oscillations between ground and a junction (J2) of a parallel LC resonator of the local oscillator.
