  • Publication number: 20240029164
Abstract: This invention concerns systems and methods for individuals to collaboratively share performance data of Defined Contribution Plans (DCPs) they participate in. By applying individually subjective scaling factors, asset positions in participants' accounts are pared down to meaningful performance indices, while masking actual wealth information. In other words, the present invention enables and enforces revelation of participant-identities in a safe manner, improving transparency and trust among the participants. As a result, in a close-knit community such as a workplace environment where employees know each other and abide by a common set of values and behaviors, this invention coerces truthfulness in data-sharing among peers. This tool alleviates retirement anxiety among wage earners and help them make realistic retirement savings goals, by constantly validating the market through self & peer experiences and not solely relying on provider statements.

  • Publication number: 20230233747
Abstract: A fluid management system for an ophthalmic surgical system includes an irrigation system and an aspiration system. The irrigation system carries fluid toward a handpiece and includes an irrigation pump or a plurality of pumps. The aspiration system carries fluid away from the handpiece and includes an aspiration pump or the plurality of pumps. The pumps include at least one magnetic pump configured to move the fluid. The magnetic pump includes a plug system and a magnetic field system. The plug system includes one or more plugs disposed within a housing, where each plug comprises a magnetic material. The magnetic field system generates a magnetic field to move one or more of the plugs in order to move the fluid in a pumping direction.

  • Patent number: 11471091
Abstract: An assortment of algorithms, procedures and associated device-hardware to condition human mind on causality between a specific state of mind and an externally generated stimuli, including a procedure to collect (310) bio signals underlying specific mental moods, characterize (330) them, monitor (350,360) bio signal activity to detect such moods, and play mind games that enhance mind's flexing power with the help of said device. Invention also includes a method (340) to evaluate and engineer mantras that serve as said externally generated stimuli.

  • Patent number: 11224540
Abstract: In certain embodiments, apparatus for self-aligning elements of coupled platforms includes a radially repulsive magnetic bearing. The radially repulsive magnetic bearing includes a first axially polarized magnet and a second axially polarized magnet that is concentrically disposed around the first axially polarized magnet and radially repulsive to the first axially polarized magnet. The radially repulsive magnetic bearing is configured to align a first element of a first platform with a second element of a second platform when the first and second platforms are coupled together.

  • Publication number: 20130227429
Abstract: A social data network tool to collect (110), compile, analyze, graph (210) and search (230) data elements submitted by individual entities, has software modules and enabling hardware components that facilitate forming data sharing groups. A data sharing group serves as a mutually supporting and benefiting community where highly dependable data of common interest are securely shared, displayed, compared and analyzed. A Data-Discrepancy-Analysis tool (420) available on the Graphical User Interface (400), helps users with explanations on similarities or differences between data series, sets or groups. A slew of mathematical algorithms, external databases and domain experts assist the tool to reveal, quantify and interpret trends in data structures for the benefit of users. A high efficiency data mining engine is also part of this tool, which is designed to search (203) for numerical characteristics of data series or their numerical relationships with other data series or their associated storage tags.
