Abstract: There is provided a cooker including: a cooking room; a steam generator configured to generate steam, and to supply the steam to the cooking room; a water level sensor configured to sense a water level of a cleaning solution stored in the inside of the steam generator; a supply apparatus including a storage unit configured to accommodate the cleaning solution, a supply pump configured to supply the cleaning solution accommodated in the storage unit to the steam generator, and a drain pump configured to supply the cleaning solution remaining in the steam generator to the storage unit; and a controller configured to control operations of the supply pump and the drain pump, wherein the controller operates the supply pump in a washing mode, operates the drain pump when the cleaning solution is fully filled in the steam generator, and again operates the supply pump when the cleaning solution is removed from the steam generator.

Abstract: A microwave oven that may conveniently input automatic or manual cooking using only one dial and a method for controlling input of the microwave oven are provided. An automatic or manual cooking mode can be selected using one dial and a detailed cooking function of the selected cooking mode can be set, so that the number of devices for input can be reduced and manipulation performance of both a user who is not accustomed to the microwave oven and a user who is accustomed to the microwave oven can be improved.

Abstract: A microwave oven, having a humidity sensor and a voltage detecting unit for detecting a change in an output voltage of the humidity sensor, includes: a control unit for receiving a compensated voltage according to a change in temperature supplied from the humidity sensor and a detected voltage supplied from the voltage detecting unit, and determining a cooking time based on a voltage difference between the detected voltage and the compensated voltage. With this configuration, an optimal cooking time based on a being cooked can be calculated by use of the humidity sensor, and the cooking time can be controlled in a stable manner relative to external noise or irregular changes in humidity.
