    Abstract: Embodiments provide methods and systems for controlling payment transactions in a payment card using a companion payment application installed on a user device. The payment application and the payment card may be provided by an issuer server. Using the payment application, the number of transactions allowed on the payment card or an amount limit is set for the payment card. The payment application is used to set, reset, change the value of a counter in the card, which determines the number of allowed transactions. When the user attempts to make a transaction at a POS terminal, the payment card reads the value of counter, and if the value is not equal to a threshold value, the payment card exchanges data with the POS terminal and updates the value of the counter. The payment card is precluded from transaction when value of the counter is equal to threshold value.

The autosave value triggers are triggered by different conditions. For example, one autosave trigger may be triggered when an error condition is detected. Another may be triggered when a certain number of operations are performed. The machine learning model generates autosave trigger values scores for one or more autosave triggers. The system may implement the autosave triggers in the computing environment based on the autosave trigger values.

A first DNS resolution that resolves an IP address for a domain name is received. A service stores the first DNS resolution in an LKG cache residing on the local host. A second DNS request is sent, where the second DNS request again requests to resolve the same domain name. In response to determining that a second DNS resolution for the second DNS request has not been received, the service obtains the IP address for the domain name from the LKG cache.

Based on the update information received, the orchestration interface populates a topology of nodes and edges as a directed acyclic graph (DAG) that maps nodes to tasks and edges to runtime dependencies between tasks, based on node inputs and outputs. The orchestration interface instructs the execution of the tasks and handling dependencies by interacting with a task execution system (TES) and by traversing the DAG, the orchestration interface identifies tasks that depend on completed tasks as per the runtime dependencies and instructs the TES to execute the dependent tasks identified.

The options to configure the naming rules may include configuring a naming rule that adds one or more context identifiers to a thread name. The thread name may be generated by automatically populating one or more of the context identifiers with a variable value that occurs during execution of the thread that corresponds to the one or more context identifiers. A conditional breakpoint may be controlled during debugging that is thread-specific based on a condition including at least one context identifier that matches a portion of the thread name.

    Abstract: A communications system may include a user equipment (UE) device that communicates with a cellular network having base stations. A UE may enter a connected mode in which the UE and a first base station in a first cell convey wireless data. While in connected mode, the first base station may transmit measurement objects to the UE, each being associated with a different cell neighboring the first cell. The UE may store the measurement objects. When the UE enters an idle mode, the UE may perform measurements on the neighboring cells using the measurement objects. The UE may then use the measurements to determine whether to re-select to a neighbor cell when the UE is unable to acquire a measurement configuration from the base station in idle mode. This may help to mitigate the occurrence of idle mode out-of-service (OOS) conditions for the UE device.
