Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a hydrothermally stable catalyst composition. The hydrothermally stable supported catalyst composition comprises K2CO3 impregnated on an amorphous silica-alumina support. The weight ratio of silica to alumina in the support is in the range of 0.1 to 1.5. The amount of K2CO3 is in the range of 5 wt % to 60 wt % with respect to the total catalyst composition. The catalyst composition is characterized by a pore volume in the range of 0.1 cc/g to 0.9 cc/g, a surface area in the range of 40 m2/g to 250 m2/g and an attrition index in the range of 2% to 8%. The present disclosure also relates to a process for preparing the catalyst composition. The catalyst composition provides improved hydrothermal stability, attrition resistance, high pore volume and surface area for gasifying carbonaceous feed at low temperature, as compared to a conventional catalyst composition.

  • Publication number: 20210284918
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for reducing the amount of carbon disulphide (CS2) in a hydrocarbon feed containing C5-C8 fractions. The hydrocarbon feed is treated with an amine functionalized anion exchange resin (basic anion exchange resin) to obtain a mixture comprising a liquid fraction containing treated hydrocarbon and a solid mass containing an adduct of CS2 and the amine functionalized anion exchange resin. The so obtained liquid fraction containing the treated hydrocarbon is separated from the solid mass to obtain the hydrocarbon having CS2 content less than 2 ppm. The amine functionalized anion exchange resin can be regenerated from the solid mass.

  • Patent number: 11076796
Abstract: A method and system for determining cognitive load of a person using a modified baseline is provided. The person is asked to perform a series of activities including staying in eye closed rest state and baseline state and performing a trial state. Simultaneously, EEG signal and GSR signal of the person are captured. The EEG signal and the GSR signal are preprocessed and segmented. The EEG and GSR signals are then used to determine a first set and a second set of inactive states from the baseline interval and the rest interval. The most inactive window is then identified out of the first set of inactive states. The most inactive window is determined from the rest interval of the person. The inactive window is used as the modified baseline to measure the cognitive load of the person.

  • Publication number: 20210215521
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system and method for measuring average temperature of mixed fluid in an enclosed chamber. Measurement is based on two independent principle as measuring variation in acoustic wave velocity and variation in resistivity that works on a single setup. First principle is based on measuring acoustic wave velocity in a known medium, which is isolated from the surrounding. The system comprises a primary pipe and a secondary pipe, wherein the ends of the pipes reside inside the enclosed chamber. The primary pipe is made out of good conductor of heat and filled with air. Ends of the primary pipe is fitted with a transducers have one transmitter at one end and one receiver at another end. Average temperature of the mixed fluid is measured based on the variations in sound velocity of acoustic wave passed through the primary pipe and resistivity variations of the primary pipe.

  • Publication number: 20210157743
Abstract: A server includes a data cache for storing data objects requested by mobile devices, desktop devices, and server devices, each of which may execute a different configuration of an application. When a cache miss occurs, the cache may begin loading portions of a requested data object from various data sources. The cache itself may be divided into multiple partitions, and each of the partitions may be assigned to a specific attribute, such as an application configuration. Portions of the data object may be loaded into corresponding cache partitions based on the attributes of each. Although part of a single cache, each of the partitions may be independently assigned different cache replacement policies. Performance metrics for each of the partitions may be monitored and used to update the cache replacement policy for each partition at runtime without interrupting response traffic.
