  • Publication number: 20230147208
Abstract: A method and apparatus for offloading idle mode activities from one user equipment (UE) to another. A UE includes a cellular modem, a device-to-device (D2) communication modem, and a processor. The cellular modem performs idle mode activities during an idle mode. The processor controls the cellular modem and the D2D modem. The processor is configured to send information necessary for performing the idle mode activities to the secondary UE for offloading the idle mode activities of the primary UE to the secondary UE and put the cellular modem in a low power state or turn off the cellular modem during the idle mode. The processor wakes up the cellular modem to receive a paging message if a wake-up signal is received from the secondary UE.

  • Patent number: 11625325
Abstract: A server includes a data cache for storing data objects requested by users logged in under different user roles. Different user roles may have different permissions to access individual fields within a data object. When a cache miss occurs, the cache may begin loading portions of a requested data object from various data sources. Instead of waiting for the entire object to load to change the object state to “valid,” the cache may incrementally update the state through various levels of validity based on the user role of the request. When a portion of the data object used by a low-level user role is received, the object state can be upgraded to be valid for that user role while data for higher-level user roles continues to load. The portion of the data object can then be sent to the low-level user roles without waiting for the rest of the data object to load.

  • Publication number: 20230107306
Abstract: A system and method for creating layout for standard cells are described. In various implementations, a floating metal net in the metal zero layer of a standard cell is selected for conversion to a power rail. The metal zero layer is a lowest metal layer above the gate region of a transistor. A semiconductor process (or process) forms a power rail in a metal zero track reserved for power rails. The process forms another power rail in a metal zero track reserved for floating metal nets, and electrically shorts the two power rails using a local interconnect layer between the two power rails. The charging and discharging times of a source region physically connected to the two power rails decreases.

  • Publication number: 20230106921
Abstract: A system and method for creating layout for standard cells are described. In various implementations, a semiconductor fabrication process (or process) forms a power signal route in a same metal zero track reserved for power rails. The process forms a contact layer with inserted spacing underneath the power signal route. Along the track, this contact layer has physical contact with the power signal route with a first distance greater than a width of any signal route in any metal layer orthogonal to the power signal route, and has no physical contact with the power signal route with a second distance greater than the width. One or more signal routes in the local interconnect layer are routed through this spacing. Without this spacing, signals would be routed through this area using the metal one layer, which increases signal congestion.

  • Publication number: 20230099830
Abstract: Described are aluminum alloy products that generally have a microstructure and composition that resists corrosion. This corrosion resistance, in turn, allows the aluminum alloy products to exhibit favorable bond durability performance, such as when adhesively bonded to another product. The corrosion resistance can be achieved by controlling the composition of the aluminum alloy, including the presence and/or concentration of certain intermetallic particles, such as ?-phase intermetallic particles and ?-phase intermetallic particles.
