    Abstract: A mobile terminal capable of outputting moving pictures and a control method therefor are provided. A mobile terminal includes a display unit, a user input unit and a control unit. The display unit reproduces a first image corresponding to moving picture data. The user input unit receives at least one of objectives included in the first image, which is selected by a user. The control unit extracts image data related to the selected objective from the moving picture data, and performs a function related to the extracted image data.
