    Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method for selecting a pilot pattern for an optimal channel estimation in a wireless network by a UE. The method includes: receiving a specified pilot pattern from a base station (BS); determining at least one channel parameter from the received specified pilot pattern, wherein the at least one channel parameter comprises a delay, a Doppler, a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS), a sounding reference signal (SRS), and a signal to noise ratio (SNR); estimating a minimum number of pilots required using the at least one determined channel parameter; and determining an optimal pilot pattern using a channel coefficient and the estimated minimum number of pilots, wherein the optimal pilot pattern is used for the optimal channel estimation.

Criteria for initiating migration jobs are based on past usage and going-forward trends. An illustrative migration job re-associates data sources with a different destination media agent and/or index/catalog, including transferring some or all relevant transaction logs and/or indexing information from the old host to the new host.

A UE may receive one or more mobility-based cell selection factors from a network. At least one mobility-based cell selection factor may indicate a preference for selecting a relatively lower-mobility cell. In some cell reselection examples, if a UE determines that multiple neighbor cells satisfy one or more cell reselection criteria, the UE may select the cell corresponding to the lowest mobility state. According to some call initiation examples in which a UE is configured for wireless communication via multiple subscriber services, the UE may select the subscriber service corresponding to the lower (or lowest) mobility state. According to some radio link failure (RLF) recovery examples in which there are multiple cells suitable for re-establishment, a UE may be configured to select a cell corresponding to the lowest mobility state.
