  • Patent number: 10591875
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for optimizing load scheduling for a power plant having one or more power generator units. An exemplary method and corresponding system can involve detecting an event indicative of a need for adapting one or more constraints for an objective function used in load scheduling. On such detection, the objective function is analysed to determine adaptive constraint values for the one or more constraints for optimally solving the objective function. These adaptive constraint values can be used to solve the objective function and the solution of the objective function with the one or more adapted constraint values can be used to operate the one or more power generation units of the power plant.

  • Patent number: 10013660
Abstract: A method and control system are disclosed for optimizing load scheduling for a power plant having one or more generation units. The method can include analyzing the operating state of one or more components of generation units in terms of one or more risk indices associated with one or more components of generation units; updating an objective function that reflects the state of one or more components of generation units; solving the objective function to optimize a schedule of the one or more generation units and operating state of one or more components of generation units; and operating the one or more generation units at optimized schedule and operating state.

  • Publication number: 20170185646
Abstract: A system and a method for providing a query building logic for supporting testing requirements are disclosed. The system receives one or more business inputs from one or more users. An application database is configured for rendering one or more unique database schemas and a set of predefined parameters. The application database is accessed by at least one user to select one or more database schemas and identify a set of predefined parameters, based on one or more business conditions set for the at least one user. Further, the system comprises a TDS (Test Data Specification) framework that is configured to dynamically frame one or more queries based on one or more business inputs, selected database schemas and the identified predefined parameters by the one or more users.

  • Publication number: 20140040020
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a marketing strategy to measure the impact of internet advertisements on users who utilize social media networks. The social media networks choose to release only a certain amount of data such as the number of visits to a particular webpage within the social media network, the number of users who like the particular webpage, etc. With an advertisement, it is hoped that the number of users who visit or like the particular webpage will increase. The effectiveness of the advertisement is measured based upon the actual increase in the number of users who visit or like the webpage compared to the expected increase in the number of users in absence of the advertisement. The expected increase in the number of users is calculated based upon historical trends for the webpage in question.

  • Publication number: 20130336129
Abstract: In accordance with the present disclosure, a method may include receiving a delay measurement message frame at a responder maintenance end point from a controller maintenance end point. The method may further include writing an ingress time value to the delay measurement message frame upon receipt of the delay measurement message at the responder maintenance end point. The method may also include generating a delay measurement response frame based on the delay measurement message frame, the delay measurement response frame comprising an egress timestamp field having a value equal to the difference between a time at which the delay measurement response frame is transmitted from the responder maintenance end point and a time represented by the ingress time value. The method may additionally include transmitting the delay measurement response from the responder maintenance end point to the controller maintenance end point.
