  • Publication number: 20200366716
Abstract: A method provides a network-agnostic identity broker for retrieving identity records across heterogeneous identity networks. An identity broker receives a client request from a client to retrieve and evaluate user identity information for confirming an identity of a particular entity. The identity broker utilizes a group membership of the client to select a set of policies for handling the client request, and selects an identity network from multiple heterogeneous identity networks as a selected identity network to which the client request is to be sent. The identity broker sends the client request to the selected identity network, and then receives a response from the selected identity network. The identity broker evaluates the response according to the set of policies, such that the evaluated response conforms with the set of policies, and transmits the evaluated response to the client.

  • Patent number: 10839253
Abstract: Computer vision systems and methods for optimized computer vision using deep neural networks and Lipschitz analysis are provided. The system receives signals or data related to visual imagery, such as data from a camera, and feed-forwards the signals/data through the multiple layers of a convolutional neural network (CNN). At one or more layers of the CNN, the system determines at least one Bessel bound of that layer. The system then determines a Lipschitz bound based on the one or more Bessel bounds. The system then applies the Lipschitz bound to the signals. Once the Lipschitz bound is applied, the system can feed-forward the signals to other processes of the layer or to a further layer.

  • Publication number: 20200356811
Abstract: Computer vision systems and methods for machine learning using a set packing framework are provided. A minimum weight set packing (“MWSP”) framework is parameterized by a set of possible hypotheses, each of which is associated with a real valued cost that describes the sensibility of the belief that the members of the hypothesis correspond to a common cause. Using MWSP, the system then selects the lowest total cost set of hypotheses, such that no two selected hypotheses share a common observation. Observations that are not included in any selected hypothesis, define the set of false observations can be thought of as false observations/noise. The system can be utilized to support one or more trained computer models in performing computer vision on input data in order to generate output data.

  • Publication number: 20200358796
Abstract: A deep-learning based method evaluates similarities of entities in decentralized identity graphs. One or more processors represent a first identity profile as a first identity graph and a second identity profile as a second identity graph. The processor(s) compare the first identity graph to the second identity graph, which are decentralized identity graphs from different identity networks, in order to determine a similarity score between the first identity profile and the second identity profile. The processor(s) then implement a security action based on the similarity score.

  • Publication number: 20200350146
Abstract: A method and apparatus for operating a plasma processing chamber includes performing a plasma process at a process pressure and a pressure power to generate a plasma. A first ramping-down stage starts in which the process power and the process pressure are ramped down substantially simultaneously to an intermediate power level and an intermediate pressure level, respectively. The intermediate power level and intermediate pressure level are preselected so as to raise a plasma sheath boundary above a threshold height from a surface of a substrate. A purge gas is flowed from a showerhead assembly at a sufficiently high rate to sweep away contaminant particles trapped in the plasma such that one or more contaminant particles move outwardly of an edge of the substrate. A second ramping-down stage starts where the intermediate power level and the intermediate pressure level decline to a zero level and a base pressure, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20200336547
Abstract: In some implementations, formation of loops between nodes in an RPL network may be avoided. A node that receives a neighbor-discovery message may determine, based on a parent-child status, whether the neighbor-discovery message was received from a parent of the node. If the neighbor-discovery message was received from the parent, the node may transmit an error code to the parent. In addition, the node may determine, based on a comparison of reliability rankings, whether the neighbor-discovery message was received from a node with relatively high reliability, such as a potential grandparent node. If the neighbor-discovery message was received from a high-reliability node, the node may transmit an error code to the high-reliability node. Furthermore, the node may reduce network traffic by withholding a neighbor-detection message from a child node. The node may transmit a response to neighbor-detection messages received from the child node.

  • Patent number: 10811546
Abstract: A process of depositing zirconium oxide (ZrO2) layers possessing dual properties of anti-reflection and passivation of silicon surfaces, including passivation of n-type and p-type silicon substrates. To grow a ZrO2 anti-reflection passivation layer, a precursor layer of zirconium oxide is spun on a silicon surface then dried, pyrolyzed and fired at suitable contact firing conditions, avoiding additional deposition. Thermal annealing in a hydrogen environment improves passivation quality of ZrO2 layer to a level 3-4 times higher than that of fired films alone. ZrO2 dielectric passivation layers exhibit improved passivation quality after illumination due to photo-enhanced passivation and higher passivation quality at higher thermal budget suitable for screen printed metal contact firing, unlike standard PECVD deposited passivation layers. The method is adaptable for fabrication of silicon solar cells and other structures utilizing passivated layers.
