  • Patent number: 11640484
Abstract: Multi-envelope encryption provides redundancy for highly-available storage of encrypted data. Data, such as a “snapshot” representing values of every block of a block storage volume or device at a specific point in time, may be encrypted before storage to prevent unauthorized access to the data. To further protect the data and prevent unauthorized access to the data, additional security measures may be taken. Multiple copies of the data key that is to be used to decrypt the data may be encrypted and stored separately from the encrypted data as envelopes. The different envelopes may each be encrypted using envelope keys. If one envelope key is later lost or otherwise becomes unavailable, the encrypted data can still be accessed by using a different envelope key to recover the data key and decrypt the data.

  • Patent number: 11641362
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein improve existing systems by generating a data object indicative of a defined group of users of a communication session, messages being communicated between the defined group of users, and permissions defined for the defined group of users to access content of the communication session. In response to receiving a selection of a message set including a subset of the messages of the defined group for corresponding with a non-member user who is not a member of the defined group, the system updates the first data object to include the selected message set and subsequent messages exchanged between the non-member user and a subset of the users in the defined group directed to the selected message set, and permissions defined for the additional participant to limit full access to other subsequent messages in the defined group not directed to the selected message set.

  • Patent number: 11640399
Abstract: In some examples, a database system identifies a plurality of query portions in a database query that contain references to a first external table, the first external table being based on data from a remote data store coupled to the database system over a network. The database system creates a common spool portion that includes projections and selections of the plurality of query portions, and rewrites the plurality of query portions into rewritten query portions that refer to a spool containing an output of the common spool portion. For execution of the database query, the database system determines, as part of optimizer planning, whether to use the plurality of query portions or the common spool portion and the rewritten query portions.

  • Patent number: 11640635
Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for automatically identifying substitute items. A computing device can generate matrix data that identifies connection values between a plurality of items. The matrix data may be generated based on the application of one or more machine learning algorithms to historical data identifying accepted or denied item substitutions. The computing device may then receive item data identifying at least one second item and at least one attribute of that second item. The computing device may generate a graph based on the matrix data and the item data to determine connection values between the second item and the plurality of first items. The computing device may then determine a substitute item (e.g., a replacement item) for the second item based on the connection values between the second item and the plurality of first items.

  • Patent number: 11640365
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an integrated circuit of an electronic device that coordinates activities with another integrated circuit of the electronic device. The integrated circuit includes an interface circuit and a processor circuit. The interface circuit communicates over a multi-drop bus connected to multiple electronic components. The processor circuit receives an authorization request from the integrated circuit via the interface circuit and the multi-drop bus. The received authorization request relates to authorization to perform an activity on the other integrated circuit. In response to receiving the authorization request, the processor circuit determines whether the other integrated circuit is authorized to execute the activity.

  • Patent number: 11640634
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer storage media are disclosed for predicting visual compatibility between a bundle of catalog items (e.g., a partial outfit) and a candidate catalog item to add to the bundle. Visual compatibility prediction may be jointly conditioned on item type, context, and style by determining a first compatibility score jointly conditioned on type (e.g., category) and context, determining a second compatibility score conditioned on outfit style, and combining the first and second compatibility scores into a unified visual compatibility score. A unified visual compatibility score may be determined for each of a plurality of candidate items, and the candidate item with the highest unified visual compatibility score may be selected to add to the bundle (e.g., fill the in blank for the partial outfit).

  • Patent number: 11641597
Abstract: Systems and methods model earth stations and other captive terrestrial sites as simulated cell sites in a radio access network (RAN) to identify potential cellular network interferers with the earth stations. A computing device selects an earth station within a geographic area of a RAN segment and model the earth station as a cell within the RAN segment, wherein the modeling creates a simulated earth station cell. The computing device obtains sector carrier data for cells in the RAN segment and scores, based on the sector carrier data, neighboring cells to the simulated earth station cell. The scoring indicates a level of potential interference of the neighboring cells with the earth station based on geo-spatial relevance. The computing device identifies projected mobility interference in neighboring cells to the earth station and provides prioritization recommendations for interference mitigation for the earth station based on the scoring and the identifying.

  • Patent number: 11639077
Abstract: A tire includes a pair of sidewalls extending from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread is formed with a plurality of tread elements and a radially outer surface. A sensor unit is mounted to the tire and includes a pair of electrical contacts. The tread wear sensor plug includes a cylindrical projection extending through an opening formed in one of the tread elements, a flange, and a wire including proximal ends disposed in the flange and a distal end near a radially outer surface of the projection. An electrical circuit is formed by each proximal end of the wire electrically contacting a respective one of the sensor unit electrical contacts. When the tread element and the cylindrical projection wear down to the distal end of the wire, the wire and the circuit break. A notice is transmitted by the sensor unit when the circuit breaks.
