  • Publication number: 20230044078
Abstract: A method includes receiving training data for a machine learning model, the training data comprising a plurality of training examples and a corresponding plurality of labels. The method further includes dividing the training data into a plurality of training batches. For each training batch of the plurality of training batches, the method additionally includes learning a weight for each training example in the training batch that minimizes a sum of weighted losses for the training batch subject to a divergence constraint, where the divergence constraint limits a divergence of the learned weights for the training batch from a reference distribution, where the divergence is determined according to a chosen divergence measure. The method also includes training the machine learning model with each training batch of the plurality of training batches using the learned weight for each training example in the training batch. The method additionally includes providing the trained machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20230038466
Abstract: A method for providing a software based secure, robust, flexible, usable, and auditable single method that can practically eliminate threat occurring from phishing, man-in-middle theft, pharming/channel redirection, piggybacking of spyware, and application modification in client applications. These can be very strongly achieved using dynamic virtualization technology. This virtualization technology entirely protects applications from such threats is by creating highly dynamic virtual images of real data that are private, relative, one-time use, and short-lived. These virtual images are strongly made private and relative by creating virtual device id of the client device, virtual application signature of the client application, virtual private network of the network and virtual certificate of the server.

  • Publication number: 20230044103
Abstract: Anion-exchange membranes are useful for electro-membrane processes such as electrodialysis (water desalination, separation of inorganics from organic molecules, separation of specific inorganic ion, etc.), in-situ ion-exchange and ion substitution, electro-deionization for producing ultrapure water, polymer electrolyte membrane for alkaline fuel cell and electrolysis applications. The present invention discloses an acid and base resistant fluorinated hydrocarbon based anion-exchange membrane and its method of preparation thereof. In the first step co-polymerization is carried out between N-isopropylacrylamide and 1-vinylimidazole. In the second step, obtained inter-polymer of isopropylacrylamide-co-vinylimidazole co-polymer is mixed with poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-co-HFP) (IA-co-VI/PVDF-co-HFP), which is used for casting membrane film of desired thickness. The obtained casted membrane thin film is quaternized in methyl iodide solution.

  • Publication number: 20230042750
Abstract: A system for training a machine learning framework to estimate depths of objects captured in 2-D images includes a first trained machine learning network and a second untrained or minimally trained machine learning framework. The first trained machine learning network is configured to analyze 2-D images of target spaces including target objects and to provide output indicative of 3-D positions of the target objects in the target spaces. The second machine learning network can be configured to provide an output responsive to receiving a 2-D input image. A comparator receives the outputs from the first and second machine learning networks based on a particular 2-D image. The comparator compares the output of the first trained machine learning network with the output of the second machine learning network. A feedback mechanism is operative to alter the second machine learning network based at least in part on the output of the comparator.

  • Publication number: 20230043336
Abstract: Data protection resources are automatically scaled to the needs of data source(s) in an application orchestrator computing environment, such as a cluster in a Kubernetes deployment. The approach is adaptable to data sources in production clusters or application suites that are not application orchestrator deployments, such as a cloud-based database-as-a-service (DBaaS). A data storage management system protects cluster-based data with an elastic number of data protection resources (e.g., data agents, media agents), which are deployed on demand. The number of data protection resources deployed for a particular job are appropriate to the workload(s) at present and depend on a variety of scaling factors. In some embodiments, data protection resources are deployed within the same cluster as the data sources.
