Patent number: 12287755Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques for a hardware-based save-and-restore controller in an SoC. The described systems and techniques can automatically save and restore access control configurations (e.g., register states) of IP subsystems during a power-down and a power-up sequence, respectively. The save operation is initiated by a local save-and-restore (L SAR) controller and performed by the IP subsystems writing the configuration values to a central save-and-restore (C-SAR) controller before powering down a power domain. The C-SAR controller saves the configuration information in a memory located in an always-on power domain. The described systems and techniques initiate, via the L SAR controller, a restore operation as part of the power-up sequence. In this way, the described systems and techniques provide scalable save-and-restore services, support a large number of power domains, and allow a variable number of access control configurations to be saved and restored.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2020Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Google LLCInventor: Vinoth Kumar Deivasigamani

Patent number: 12287767Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes obtaining, by a de-duplication server, a candidate pair of a plurality of digitally stored documents from a document database. Text elements are identified from each digitally stored document in the candidate pair in response, and the text elements are stored as document extraction attributes. The method then automatically computes and stores relative positional differences of the text elements between each digitally stored document of the candidate pair and a document similarity score based on the relative positional differences. The relative positional differences are compared with a similarity function to form a difference similarity vector for the candidate pair. The difference similarity vector comprises components corresponding to each relative positional difference. The components of the difference similarity vector are aggregated to determine a final score for the candidate pair.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2024Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Coupa Software IncorporatedInventors: Jyotirmaya Mahanta, Ankit Narang, Shoan Jain, Prasanna Kumar

Patent number: 12288140Abstract: A classifier may be trained with less than all datasets manually annotated with labels. A small subset of verbatims may be manually labeled with topic labels as seeds. Data augmentations can be used to acquire seed verbatim sets for known topics and to assign temporary pseudo labels to the rest of the verbatims based on their vector space proximity to the labeled seed verbatims. The training may involve classification epochs during which embeddings are updated with the assumption that the pseudo labels are ground-truth labels. The training may also involve labeling epochs during which the updated embeddings are used to update the vectors corresponding to the verbatims, and pseudo labels are updated based on updated vector coordinates in the vector space. As the training process progresses through the epochs, the embeddings will converge.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 2021Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Soyoung Peraud, Alexandre Rochette, Gabriel Arien Desgarennes, Niel Chah, Abhishek Kumar, Timothy James Hazen

Patent number: 12288064Abstract: A processor includes an execution unit for executing a message padding instruction including an operand field indicating a register buffering a message block segment of a message block to be padded and a mode field indicating which hash functions is to be applied to the message block. The execution unit includes a padding circuit configured to receive a message block segment from a register indicated by the operand field, where the message block spans multiple registers in a register file. Based on which hash function is indicated by the mode field, the padding circuit selects a byte location in the message block segment at which to insert at least one padding byte and inserts the at least one padding byte at the byte location within the message block segment. The message block segment as padded by the at least one padding byte is written back to the register file.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 2022Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Manoj Kumar, Silvia Melitta Mueller, Debapriya Chatterjee, Niels Fricke, Martijn Diede Berkers

Patent number: 12285298Abstract: A machine accesses a first image captured prior to initiation of a procedure, where the first image depicts a set of instruments, as well as a second image captured after initiation of the procedure, where the second image depicts a proper subset of the set of instruments depicted in the first image. From the first and second images, the machine may determine that an instrument among the set of instruments depicted in the first image is not depicted among the proper subset of the set of instruments in the second image, and then cause presentation of a notification that indicates the instrument not depicted in the second image is missing. Alternatively, or additionally, the machine may determine whether an instrument among the set of instruments was used in the procedure, and then cause presentation of a notification that indicates whether the instrument was used in the procedure.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2021Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Stryker CorporationInventors: Mayank Kumar, Sheetal Deepak Jantikar, Siddarth Satish, Kevin J. Patent number: 12288552Abstract: An automated system and corresponding method is configured to predict a call duration of a customer service interaction between a caller and a customer-service agent of a call center, based at least in part on information provided orally by the caller to the automated system. The automated system transcribes the orally provided information, preprocesses the transcribed data, adds feature enrichment data to supplement the transcribed data, and executes a machine-learning model to predict the caller's intent. If the predicted caller's intent does not have an adequate confidence score associated therewith, the system requests additional data from the caller, and supplements the original data with newly provided data, and again determines a predicted call intent. This process may iterate until the confidence score satisfies applicable confidence criteria prior to utilizing two additional machine-learning models to predict a call duration of the interaction between the caller and a customer-service agent.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2021Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Optum, Inc.Inventors: Vivedha Elango, Soundararajan Dhakshinamoorthy, Srividya Thyagarajan, Ninad D. Patent number: 12289744Abstract: In techniques disclosed allow a user equipment (UE) that receives location assistance data to determine a preferred bandwidth part (BWP) with which reference signals from one or more base stations can be measured for position determination of the UE. The selection of the preferred BWP can be based on a determination of the frequency and bandwidth of reference signals to be transmitted by the one or more base stations over the course of a positioning station. The preferred BWP may be the BWP, of a plurality of candidate BWPs, that allows for a desired number of reference signal measurements to be taken without retuning a transceiver of the UE.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2020Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: QUALCOMM INCORPORATEDInventors: Akash Kumar, Amit Jain

Patent number: 12289362Abstract: A multi-tenant dynamic secure data region in which encryption keys can be shared by services running in nodes reduces the need for decrypting data as encrypted data is transferred between nodes in the data center. Instead of using a key per process/service, that is created by a memory controller when the service is instantiated (for example, MKTME), a software stack can specify that a set of processes or compute entities (for example, bit-streams) share a private key that is created and provided by the data center.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 2020Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Francesc Guim Bernat, Karthik Kumar, Alexander Bachmutsky
