Abstract: The disclosure relates to a fifth generation (5G) or sixth generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method and a system for manage state transitions of a multicast broadcast service (MBS) user equipment (UE), manage a service continuity of the multicast UE, and manage packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) synchronizations of the multicast UE in a wireless network are provided. A radio resource control (RRC) connection resume procedure is initiated when point-to-multipoint (PTM) configurations are not available in a cell after cell selection and/or cell reselection, and the UE has at least one activated session in the RRC_INACTIVE state. The RRC connection resume procedure is also initiated when the cell after cell selection and/or cell reselection is an MBS control channel (MCCH)-less cell and the UE has at least one activated session (for example, indicated to monitor G-RNTI) in the RRC_INACTIVE state.

  • Publication number: 20250111164
Abstract: Machine learning models are used to invoke a sequence of tools in response to a user request. A list of available tools is culled before a machine learning model selects from the remaining tools to generate a plan. The plan, which describes tool invocations in natural language, is then converted to code that can programmatically invoke the tools. In some configurations, the list of available tools is first culled by removing tools that do not appear in similarly described plans. The list may further be culled by removing tools that do not appear in plans generated by machine learning models. Then, a machine learning model is prompted to generate a final plan from the culled list and the user request. In some configurations, the final plan is converted to code by prompting a machine learning model to extrapolate from the code of similar plans.

  • Publication number: 20250113430
Abstract: Technologies for reducing the impact of inductors on electrical traces are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, conductive ink is applied in a silk screen layer on top of a solder mask of a circuit board. The conductive ink forms shield regions under and near where inductors are placed and/or where a power plane is routed. The conductive shield regions may be coupled to a ground plane in the circuit board. The conductive shield regions can partially shield traces under and near the inductor, reducing the noise induced on nearby traces. The conductive shield regions can allow traces for high-speed input/output signals to be routed closer to the inductor, reducing the size, number of layers, and/or cost of the circuit board. In some embodiments, the conductive shield regions can shield emissions from the power plane, reducing interference on antennas of a device.
