  • Patent number: 12288561
Abstract: A speech recognition platform configured to receive an audio signal that includes speech from a user and perform automatic speech recognition (ASR) on the audio signal to identify ASR results. The platform may identify: (i) a domain of a voice command within the speech based on the ASR results and based on context information associated with the speech or the user, and (ii) an intent of the voice command. In response to identifying the intent, the platform may perform multiple actions corresponding to this intent. The platform may select a target action to perform, and may engage in a back-and-forth dialog to obtain information for completing the target action. The action may include streaming audio to the device, setting a reminder for the user, purchasing an item on behalf of the user, making a reservation for the user or launching an application for the user.

  • Patent number: 12288194
Abstract: To schedule a future interaction between a caller and a call-center, a management computing system associated with the call center is configured to determine an estimated call time for addressing the caller's issues, based at least in part on a predicted call intent as well as feature enrichment data received from one or more memory storage areas. Upon determining a predicted call duration for the call, the management computing entity accesses the caller's calendar, such as through an internet-based communication between the caller's user computing entity and the management computing entity, or via third-party access permissions provided by the caller. The management computing entity identifies one or more candidate timeslots based at least in part on the predicted call duration, and receives user input selecting a candidate timeslot for scheduling the callback.

  • Patent number: 12289189
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for providing a code cover to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in a multiple user system. A data sequence is received from each of a plurality of users. Further, a reference sequence is generated for the data sequence of each of the plurality of users. Each of the reference sequence is multiplied with a code cover which are orthogonal to each other. Each of the reference sequence is time-multiplexed with corresponding data sequence, to generate a corresponding multiplexed sequence. Further, a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) is performed on each of the multiplexed sequence to generate a corresponding DFT-spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol. Lastly, the corresponding DFT-s-OFDM symbol is processed for transmitting over corresponding one or more channels.

  • Patent number: 12289663
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for managing attachment requests for UEs in a wireless network environment comprising a first set of base stations and a second set of base stations when the first and second set of base stations have at least one unique network characteristic. By rejecting attachment requests to UEs attempting to access one or more base stations of the second set of base stations, the conventional cell selection and attachment process will drive UEs to attach to the first set of base stations.

  • Patent number: 12289490
Abstract: In an embodiment, content data delivery to a requesting device in a content delivery network (CDN) may be handled by a server device using a content cache of a computing device associated with the server device. The computing device may be a component of, local to, and/or directly connected to the server device. The server device receives a request to deliver the content data, determines that the location of the content data is in the content cache, and responsive to this determination, sends instructions to the computing device to provide the content data to the requesting device. In one embodiment, the server device may acquire and provide the content data to the computing device for storage in the content cache, before or in response to receiving the request to deliver the content data.

  • Patent number: 12289203
Abstract: A customer edge device is connected, in a multi-homed configuration, to a device via a downlink of the device and to another device via another downlink of the other device. The device may determine that each of one or more uplinks of the device has an inactive interface status and may thereby cause the downlink of the device to be down. This may cause the customer edge device to communicate network traffic via the other downlink of the other device. The device may determine that at least one uplink, of the one or more uplinks, has an active interface status and may thereby cause the downlink to be up. This may cause the customer edge device to communicate network traffic via the downlink of the device.

  • Patent number: 12289569
Abstract: A time-division multiplexed (TDM) communication system has a dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) controller that is configured to reduce demand overestimation so that more optimal bandwidth allocation is achieved. Upon receiving load information from a transceiver, the DBA controller is configured to estimate an amount of change to the transceiver's reported load based on previous allocations of bandwidth to the transceiver for frames that occur during a reporting delay (e.g., the delay from the time that the load information is transmitted until it is received and processed). That is, the estimated load is reduced in an effort to account for transmissions made by the transceiver during the reporting delay, thereby preventing or reducing the amount of demand overestimation that would otherwise occur. Thus, the transceiver may be allocated less bandwidth according to a desired DBA algorithm so that more network bandwidth is available for other transceivers.

  • Patent number: 12287767
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes obtaining, by a de-duplication server, a candidate pair of a plurality of digitally stored documents from a document database. Text elements are identified from each digitally stored document in the candidate pair in response, and the text elements are stored as document extraction attributes. The method then automatically computes and stores relative positional differences of the text elements between each digitally stored document of the candidate pair and a document similarity score based on the relative positional differences. The relative positional differences are compared with a similarity function to form a difference similarity vector for the candidate pair. The difference similarity vector comprises components corresponding to each relative positional difference. The components of the difference similarity vector are aggregated to determine a final score for the candidate pair.

  • Patent number: 12288552
Abstract: An automated system and corresponding method is configured to predict a call duration of a customer service interaction between a caller and a customer-service agent of a call center, based at least in part on information provided orally by the caller to the automated system. The automated system transcribes the orally provided information, preprocesses the transcribed data, adds feature enrichment data to supplement the transcribed data, and executes a machine-learning model to predict the caller's intent. If the predicted caller's intent does not have an adequate confidence score associated therewith, the system requests additional data from the caller, and supplements the original data with newly provided data, and again determines a predicted call intent. This process may iterate until the confidence score satisfies applicable confidence criteria prior to utilizing two additional machine-learning models to predict a call duration of the interaction between the caller and a customer-service agent.

  • Patent number: 12288140
Abstract: A classifier may be trained with less than all datasets manually annotated with labels. A small subset of verbatims may be manually labeled with topic labels as seeds. Data augmentations can be used to acquire seed verbatim sets for known topics and to assign temporary pseudo labels to the rest of the verbatims based on their vector space proximity to the labeled seed verbatims. The training may involve classification epochs during which embeddings are updated with the assumption that the pseudo labels are ground-truth labels. The training may also involve labeling epochs during which the updated embeddings are used to update the vectors corresponding to the verbatims, and pseudo labels are updated based on updated vector coordinates in the vector space. As the training process progresses through the epochs, the embeddings will converge.
