  • Publication number: 20240414049
Abstract: Techniques discussed herein relate to implementing a distributed computing cluster (the “cluster”) including a plurality of edge devices (e.g., devices individually configured to selectively execute within an isolated computing environment). Each of the edge devices of the cluster may be configured with a respective control plane computing component. A subset of the edge devices may be selected to operate in a distributed control plane of the computing cluster. Any suitable combination of the subset selected to operate in the distributed control plane can instruct remaining edge devices of the distributed computing cluster to disable at least a portion of their respective control planes. Using these techniques, the cluster's distributed control plane can be configured and modified to scale as the cluster grows. The edge devices of the control plane may selectively connect to a centralized cloud, alleviating the remaining edge devices from needless and costly connections.

  • Publication number: 20240412314
Abstract: A device detects, using input from one or more sensors installed at a parking facility of a plurality of parking facilities, an infraction caused by a vehicle. Responsive to detecting the infraction, the device generates a vehicle fingerprint by inputting a depiction of the vehicle into a supervised machine learning model, the depiction derived from one or more images of the vehicle captured at the parking facility, and receiving a feature vector of the vehicle as output from the supervised machine learning model, the feature vector comprising a plurality of embeddings each describing a dimension of the vehicle. The device monitors for entry of the vehicle at each of the plurality of parking facilities using the vehicle fingerprint, and, responsive to detecting entry of the vehicle at a given one of the plurality of parking facilities, triggers a remediation action.

  • Publication number: 20240412039
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for generating parallel synthetic training data for a machine learning model. A server computing device generates a model training dataset from a baseline dataset comprising a plurality of sentences labeled as noncompliant with a ruleset. The server trains a conditional autoregressive language model using the model training dataset as input to generate a corpus of synthetic predicted to be noncompliant with the rulesets. For each synthetic sentence, the server executes a compliance classification model to generate a compliance label for the synthetic sentence. The server identifies a plurality of the synthetic sentences labeled as noncompliant that are semantically similar to sentences from the baseline dataset to generate a first parallel corpus of synthetic training data. The server executes a language suggestion model using the identified synthetic sentences to generate a second parallel corpus of synthetic training data.
