  • Publication number: 20240340612
Abstract: In general, techniques are described for performing proximity-based output selection. A computing device comprising one or more network interfaces and processing circuitry may be configured to perform the techniques. The one or more network interfaces may communicate with one or more available outputs for playing content. The processing circuitry may determine a proximity to the computing device for each of the one or more available outputs, and determine, based on the proximity determined for each of the one or more available outputs relative to every other one of the one or more available outputs, a ranked list of available outputs. The processing circuitry may next interface, with a display, a graphical user interface that includes at least a portion of the ranked list of available outputs.

  • Publication number: 20240338414
Abstract: This document relates to natural language processing using a framework such as a neural network. One example method involves obtaining a first document and a second document and propagating attention from the first document to the second document. The example method also involves producing contextualized semantic representations of individual words in the second document based at least on the propagating. The contextualized semantic representations can provide a basis for performing one or more natural language processing operations.

  • Publication number: 20240338263
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to managing and routing messages to distributed user devices in an enterprise computing environment. In some embodiments, a computing platform may receive an application content request from an enterprise tablet computing device. The computing platform may generate and send a database query, which may cause a message database server to select message data from a message database hosted by the message database server. After sending the database query, the computing platform may receive, from the message database server, the message data selected from the message database. Subsequently, the computing platform may generate a notification for the enterprise tablet computing device and may send the notification to the enterprise tablet computing device, which may cause the enterprise tablet computing device to display the notification.

  • Publication number: 20240338708
Abstract: Techniques for managing pending data transactions are described and are implementable to enable errant data transactions (e.g., payment transactions) to be detected and resolved. For instance, when a first data transaction is unresolved and remains pending for an excessive period, a second data transaction can be initiated and resolved successfully. The pending first data transaction may subsequently resolve successfully, and thus a result of the successful first data transaction can be reversed to avoid duplicate data transactions.

  • Publication number: 20240341111
Abstract: Systems and methods for an active emissive layer configured for use in an electroluminescent device. The active emissive layer includes a host-guest blend in which the host includes a perovskite (e.g., CsPbBr3, CsPbCl3, and/or CsPbI3) and the guest includes quantum shells (QSs) embedded in the host. The QSs include a quantum-confined, spheroidal shell that is a first semiconductor (e.g., CdSe) sandwiched between a core and an outer layer that are a wider band gap semiconductor (e.g., CdS). The active emissive layer is formed by mixing a perovskite solution with a colloid to generate a blended mixture, where the colloid is the QSs suspended in a same solvent used for the perovskite solution. The perovskite solution is coated on a substrate to form a film that is then annealed, and electrodes are formed to flow a current through the active emissive layer, causing emitted light.

  • Publication number: 20240340733
Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for L2 resets. For example, a UE can be connected to a base station DU via a first cell and can be configured with information about a second cell. This information can indicate whether an LTM association exists between the first cell and the second cell (e.g., whether these two cells are provided by the same base station DU or not). Upon a command to establish a connection with the second cell (e.g., a MAC CE handover command), the UE can determine whether an L2 reset is to be performed or not based on the configuration information (e.g., the L2 reset can be foregone when the two cells are provided by the same base station DU; otherwise, the L2 reset can be performed).

Abstract: A data processing system including an array of reconfigurable units and a compiler configured to generate to execute a dataflow graph of a user application is disclosed. The dataflow graph includes a sequence of temporal partitions, each temporal partition including a sequence of graph control operations. Also disclosed is an intelligent graph orchestration and execution engine (IGOEE) configured to receive an optimization objective from the complier. The optimization objective can be for minimizing execution time of the reconfigurable processor or maximizing computing resource utilization of the reconfigurable processor. The IGOEE can reorganize the sequence of temporal partitions and the sequence of graph control operations within each temporal partition to satisfy the optimization objective; and execute the reorganized dataflow graph on the reconfigurable processor. A corresponding method is also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20240337759
Abstract: A terminal position is determined with differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS) using GNSS signals from a plurality of satellite vehicles and differential corrections generated by a reference station for the GNSS signals and broadcast via a DGNSS server. The use of the differential corrections for positioning is interrupted when the determined terminal position does not improve with use of the differential corrections. The differential corrections may be interrupted for a period of time so that the terminal no longer receives the broadcast of the differential corrections or so that the differential corrections are not used for position estimation in order to reduce power consumption and reduce processing operations. The DGNSS capabilities of the terminal, such as the supported GNSS constellations and/or frequency bands, may be used by the DGNSS server to select differential corrections to broadcast to the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20240338281
Abstract: A disclosed framework enables virtually any aggressive Recovery Point Objective (RPO) to be enforced for a production database, without limitation on type of database management system (DBMS) or size of the production database. The framework overcomes technological barriers of the prior art, such as bottlenecks presented by a storage manager computer that traditionally managed database backups. To avoid the bottlenecks, an illustrative data storage management system does not engage the storage manager computer in storage operations that could impact the database RPO. Certain components are added and enhanced to autonomously capture database transaction logs, which are stored securely and persistently away from the DBMS. In a separate and less frequent operation, and with involvement of the storage manager computer, the illustrative system generates secondary copies in their final form. Meanwhile, temporary backup files can be used in restore operations without first being converted into secondary copies.
