Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for compliance detection using natural language processing. Various embodiments include a computing device that can transcribe a sound recording of a transcript, where the sound recording can be representative of a telephonic call occurring between an agent and a client. The computing device can determine that the telephonic call included a discussion related to a regulated subject based on an analysis by a natural language processor of the transcript. The computing device can obtain a compliance rule based at least in part on the regulated subject of the telephonic call. The computing device can determine that the compliance rule has been violated using a natural language processor of the transcript. The computing device can also store various information related to the compliance violation.

  • Publication number: 20240421939
Abstract: State of the art data transmission approaches require all the lost data packets to be retransmitted, which may not be required in a variety of scenarios. Existing protocols lack the option to change packet semantics on the fly for individual fragments on the fly for the same stream. Also, parameters including maximum number of retransmissions permitted are set beforehand, one for entire stream. Method and system in embodiments disclosed herein provide an approach for context-based retransmission of lost packets. Method and system disclosed in the embodiments herein identifies one or more packets as lost packets based on reception status of acknowledgement (ACK) within a dynamically adaptive timeout period, and then based on value of a NRTx header field associated with the lost packet, determines whether or not to retransmit the lost packet. Value of the dynamically adaptive timeout period is recalculated dynamically, based on a determined instantaneous channel condition.

  • Publication number: 20240419678
Abstract: A data processing and analysis system that optimizes the resources to be used for data storage and refresh events. A partitioner module for a data analysis system can receive a first client criteria and a first client dataset that includes tabular data and calculate scores that are used to generate partitioning strategies. The selected partitioning strategy can be implemented to produce aggregated data that can be stored in an intelligent data mart. The partitions can then be accessed by a data visualization platform for intelligent, dynamic responses to user requests for data analyses and generation of visualizations. By providing synchronous partitioning of data (especially big data) and intelligent refresh, the data can move from the back-end to the front-end with minimal user clicks and minimal latency in performance.

  • Publication number: 20240422195
Abstract: Example methods and systems for policy configuration using a data-plane approach are described. In one example, a first computer system may detect first data- plane packet(s) for establishing a connection between (a) a first virtualized computing instance and (b) a second computer system from which a resource is accessible. The first computer system may extract, from the first data-plane packet(s), parameter information associated with the connection; and configure a policy that is applicable for access control of the resource based on the parameter information. In response to detecting second data-plane packet(s) to access the resource, the computer system may apply the policy to allow or block forwarding of the second data-plane packet towards the second computer system. The second data-plane packet may originate from (a) the first virtualized computing instance or (b) a second virtualized computing instance supported by the first computer system.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing a distributed control plane to facilitate communication between a container orchestration platform and a distributed storage architecture. The distributed storage architecture hosts worker nodes that manage distributed storage that can be made accessible to applications within the container orchestration platform through the distributed control plane. The distributed control plane includes control plane controllers that are each paired with a single worker node of the distributed storage architecture. The distributed control plane is configured to selectively route commands to control plane controllers that are paired with worker nodes that are current owners of objects targeted by the commands. If ownership of an object has changed from one worker node to another worker node, then subsequent commands will be re-routed to a control plane controller paired with the other worker node now owning the object.
