Abstract: Performance of a substitute upstream processing component is tested, in order to determine whether that performance is sufficient to support a downstream processing component, within an autonomous driving system, in place of an existing upstream processing component. The existing upstream processing component and the substitute upstream processing component are mutually interchangeable in so far as they provide the same form of outputs interpretable by the downstream processing component, such that either upstream processing component may be used without modification to the downstream processing component. A direct or indirect metric-based comparison is formulated in terms of the resulting performance of the downstream processing component.

  • Publication number: 20240356731
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for securing traffic between nodes of a network against quantum computing attacks. For example, a first node of a network generates a random number input string and provides the random number input string to a second node. The first node may use the random number input string to generate at least one first key and an associated identifier. The first node may forward the associated identifier to the second node. Using the random number input string, the second node may generate at least one second key. Based at least in part on the associated identifier, the second node may select the at least one second key as a common encryption key. The at least one second key and the at least one first key are identical. Based at least in part on the common encryption key, the nodes may encrypt and decrypt traffic between them.

  • Publication number: 20240354731
Abstract: This present disclosure proposes a system and method for providing a 3D computer vision-assisted frictionless self-checkout experience in a traditional retail store by using two RGB-D camera sensors and a conveyer belt. The disclosure provides a self-checkout counter (106) that enables a customer (102) to go through a self-service checkout process by simply placing the collected products one by one on a conveyer belt. One vertical and another horizontal RGB-D sensor (108) mounted in a housing frame attached towards the end of the conveyer belt capture RGB and depth image of each product passing through the housing and pass it to a product recognition engine (216). The engine (216) identifies the unique product along with its volumetric attributes processing the RGB-D data that is further compared with a master product database and processed for invoicing.

  • Publication number: 20240354309
Abstract: A computing system includes a processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform acts. The acts include receiving a query provided by a user. The acts additionally include determining that the query is related to a comparison between entities. Based upon the determining that the query is related to the comparison between entities, the computing system generates a prompt that is to be input to a generative language model, where the prompt includes: 1) an instruction for the generative language model to generate a table based upon the query; and 2) attribute values for entities identified by a search system based upon the query. The acts also include providing the prompt as input to the generative language model, where the generative language model generates a table based upon the prompt, and further where the table includes the attribute values for the entities.

  • Publication number: 20240354478
Abstract: Disclosed methods and systems include debug circuitry registering candidate sample values in a plurality of sample periods while application circuitry is active. The candidate sample values indicate states of a plurality of candidate signals of the application circuitry. Sample values of first probed signals from each sample period are written to a sample memory using a mapping based on bit-widths of the first probed signals. The sample values of the first probed signals are selected from the candidate sample values. The mapping is updated based on bit-widths of second probed signals, and sample values of the second probed signals from each sample period are written to the sample memory using the mapping. The sample values of the second probed signals are selected from the candidate sample values.

  • Publication number: 20240356797
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for reporting diagnostics data by a first network device to a cloud-based Wide Area Network (WAN) assurance system, responsive to the first network device detecting a communication issue with the cloud-based WAN assurance system. For example, the first network device detects an issue with sending telemetry data to the cloud-based WAN assurance system via a first communication path. In response, the first network device determines a second network device that has connectivity to the WAN assurance system. The first network device sends diagnostics data to the second network device along a second communication path for forwarding to the cloud-based WAN assurance system. The cloud-based WAN assurance system receives the diagnostics data from the second network device. The cloud-based WAN assurance system controls the second network device to remediate the first network device based on the diagnostics data.
