Abstract: Provided are methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable storage media for reducing an open time of a solid-state drive (SSD). In an embodiment, a method includes dividing a logical-to-physical (L2P) address mapping table of the SSD into a plurality of segments. The method further includes assigning one journal buffer of a plurality of journal buffers to each segment of the plurality of segments. The method further includes recreating, during a power on sequence of the SSD, a portion of the plurality of segments by replaying a first subset of the plurality of journal buffers. The method further includes sending, to a host device, a device-ready signal upon successful recreation of the portion of the plurality of segments. The method further includes recreating, in a background mode, a remaining portion of the plurality of segments by replaying a second subset of the plurality of journal buffers.

  • Publication number: 20230400995
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein improve on current technology for block-level data replication to cloud computing environments. A new system architecture deploys one or more replication tail proxies in a cloud computing environment, locally (at the cloud) tracks replicated data and determines which replicated data meet criteria for reconstructing a desired point-in-time in the cloud, and persists data blocks received at the replication tail proxy until they are processed as recovery points. The disclosed approach presents resiliency and performance advantages. First, the resiliency of block-level data replication to cloud is improved by deploying the replication tail proxy in the destination cloud. Second, a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is reduced by enabling faster cloud deployment of virtual machines for disaster recovery, failover, and/or test purposes based on the replicated data.

  • Publication number: 20230401209
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to generating a hybrid query execution plan for executing queries on database systems implementing a columnar cache. A hybrid query execution plan combines a query execution plan for querying and retrieving data from a columnar cache and a base table. A columnar cache stores cached data in column-major format, which is logically represented by the database management system in row-major format. A database management system as described herein can scan valid blocks of column data according to a column scan operation. The system can identify invalidated blocks and execute a different sub-execution plan of the hybrid query execution plan to scan corresponding rows in tables corresponding to the location of data for the invalidated blocks.

  • Publication number: 20230401051
Abstract: A method, computer systems and program product to import non-compliant container images is provided. A processor receives a non-compliant container image, wherein the container image is not compliant with a target computing environment. A processor extracts a one or more embeddings from the non-compliant container image. A processor compares the one or more embeddings from the non-compliant container image to a plurality of one or more embeddings from an image catalog. A processor identifies a similar image from the image catalog based on the comparison of layer embeddings from the non-compliant container image and the similar image. • Publication number: 20230402389
Abstract: A memory array including integrated word line (WL) contact structures are disclosed. The memory array comprises a plurality of WLs that includes at least a first WL and a second WL. An integrated WL contact structure includes a first WL contact and a second WL contact for the first WL and the second WL, respectively. The second WL contact extends through the first WL contact. For example, the second WL contact is nested within the first WL contact. An intervening isolation material isolates the second WL contact from the first WL contact. In an example, the second WL contact extends through a hole in the first WL to reach the second WL. The isolation material isolates the second WL contact from sidewalls of the hole in the first WL.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for automated preparation and transmission of electronic registrations, data sheets and resources. This may include electronically initiating a process to collect data via a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate automated preparation of an electronic registration, including electronically obtaining a pre-existing entity identifier. The system may use the entity identifier to perform automated actions to electronically collect one or more support content. The system may generate the electronic registration based on the one or more support content and also receives interchange data. The system then automatically generates an electronic data sheet based on the registration and interchange data. The system may then electronically file the generated electronic data sheet, electronically issuing an alert to electronically request additional resources and automatically transmitting the finalized amount of resources to the domain.

  • Publication number: 20230401231
Abstract: In one embodiment, a web content management system is coupled to remote resources via a framework that has one or more corresponding adapters which enable editing of content by invoking editors which are native to the respective remote resources. The system retrieves a content item from a remote resource and stores a copy of the content item in a local repository, while the original content item remains in the repository of the remote resource. A content item can be selected in in a local authoring tool, causing the system to examine the content item's metadata to identify the source repository and invoke the native editor of the corresponding remote resource, enabling editing of the content item using the native editor. The copy of the content item in the local repository can then be synchronized to the edited version of the content item in the remote resource.

  • Publication number: 20230403676
Abstract: A mobile device supports positioning with positioning reference signals (PRS) on multiple beam by dividing the PRS processing into two separate modes, an acquisition mode and a tracking mode. In acquisition mode, the mobile device performs a fast scan of all of the beams from a base station transmitting PRS using less than the full set of resources for the PRS, i.e., less than the full bandwidth and/or less than the full number of repetitions of the PRS. The mobile device may select the best beams to use for positioning, e.g., based on signal strength metric. In tracking mode, the mobile device tracks the PRS from only the selected beams using the full set of resources for the PRS. The mobile device may return to acquisition mode after a predetermined number of positioning occasions or if the selected beams are no longer valid due to movement or change in conditions.
