Abstract: A method for handling a Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network is provided. The method includes detecting an event. The event includes at least one of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback being disabled, a HARQ feedback not being configured, or an unsuccessful multicast transport block (TB) decoding. Further, the method includes performing an action based on the detected event. In an example, the action includes adding an additional timing duration to at least one preconfigured DRX timer value and staying awake by the UE while the preconfigured timer is running. The action includes staying awake by the UE in spite of a multicast DRX active time being over and continuing to monitor for potential HARQ retransmission.

  • Publication number: 20230297383
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to the problem of paralleling random read access within a reasonably sized block of data for a vector SIMD processor. The invention sets up plural parallel look up tables, moves data from main memory to each plural parallel look up table and then employs a look up table read instruction to simultaneously move data from each parallel look up table to a corresponding part a vector destination register. This enables data processing by vector single instruction multiple data (SIMD) operations. This vector destination register load can be repeated if the tables store more used data. New data can be loaded into the original tables if appropriate. A level one memory is preferably partitioned as part data cache and part directly addressable memory. The look up table memory is stored in the directly addressable memory.

  • Publication number: 20230297310
Abstract: A dual-screen computing device includes two separate displays that are coupled to an interconnecting hinge. A hinge detector detects movement or position of the hinge, and the positions of the displays may be determined based on the hinge movement or position. The positions of the displays relative to each other may then be used to determine which mode of operation the dual-screen computing device is operating (e.g., tent mode, open, closed, etc.). Additionally, the dual-screen computing device may include various sensors that detect different environmental, orientation, location, and device-specific information. Applications are configured to operate differently based on the mode of operation and, optionally, the sensor data detected by the sensors.

  • Publication number: 20230297470
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus related to a multi-level error correction architecture used for copying data in memory devices. In one approach, user data is stored in the first partition of a non-volatile memory. First error correction code data is generated for the user data and stored with the user data in the first partition. Second error correction code data is generated for the user data and stored outside the first partition. The second error correction code data provides an increased error correcting capability that is compatible with the error correction algorithm used with the first error correction code data. A copyback operation is used to copy the user data and the first error correction code, but not the second error correction code, to a second partition of the non-volatile memory. The second error correction code can be selectively used if there is a need to recover portions of the user data stored in the first partition.

  • Publication number: 20230297355
Abstract: For performing analysis of enterprise application, code analysis tools may be used. But currently available analysis tools lack support for analyzing database processing statements, such as structured query language (SQL) statements and inter-service communication statements that may be present along with the programming language statements in the computer program. Present disclosure provides method and system for performing program transformations for precise analysis of enterprise applications. The system transform each database processing statement present in a computer program associated with the enterprise application into host programming language statement and each service call into function call statements. In particular, the system replaces syntax of embedded language with equivalent host programming language syntax. The system then uses existing code analyzers for performing analysis of the computer program to get data flow information of the computer program.

  • Publication number: 20230300128
Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for performing single input based multifactor authentication. Multifactor authentication refers to an authentication system with enhanced security which utilizes more than one authentication forms to validate identity of a user. Conventionally, the process of multifactor authentication is a serial process which involves inputting of authentication information multiple times. However, with conventional approaches, delay is introduced in execution of the multifactor authentication process. The method of the present disclosure addresses unresolved problems of multifactor authentication by enabling two or more factors to be assessed simultaneously making the authentication process faster without sacrificing the robustness of authentication process. Embodiments of the present disclosure analyzes spoken response of the user to a dynamically generated question for multifactor authentication.
