  • Publication number: 20230238973
Abstract: In described examples, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) includes an output, a ground, a reference voltage terminal, an input code terminal, multiple switches, multiple resistors, and a controller. The switches couple to the reference voltage terminal when activated and to the ground when deactivated. The resistors are variously coupled between corresponding ones of the switches and the output, so that activating the switches causes the DAC to output an output voltage. The controller is coupled to the input code terminal and coupled to control the switches. The controller generates an output code based on an input code in response to at least one differential nonlinearity error greater than one least significant bit voltage. The input code corresponds to a first ideal output voltage, the output code corresponds to a second, different ideal output voltage. The controller generates an output voltage by controlling the switches using the output code.

  • Publication number: 20230237078
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the field of automated functional testing, and, more particularly, to a method and system for validation of calculation code against calculation specification. Currently the validation is done manually which is time consuming and effort intensive. Embodiments of present disclosure provide an automated method of validation by generating a schema from the calculation specification, retrieving data based on the schema, executing the intermediate calculations, and comparing the result with the output from the calculation code. The method requires minimal manual input and is a fast, simple, resilient and low-code/no-code technique that can be extended to support any type of calculation code and calculation specifications with minimal or no change.

  • Publication number: 20230234918
Abstract: A process for producing diazomethane of Formula 1 (CH2N2), with an automated apparatus is described. A stock solution of N-methyl-N-nitroso amine in an organic solvent is continuously flown and mixed with an aqueous inorganic base at a T-mixer to form a mixture. Then it is passed through a capillary micro reactor at a temperature in a range of 20 to 30° C. to form diazomethane. The mixture is separated into an aqueous layer and an organic layer using a continuous flow micro-separator. The organic layer has 0.1-0.4 M diazomethane. The organic layer is reacted with a carboxylic acid, phenol, an alkyne, an anhydride, a carboxyl metal organic framework (MOF), or MOF coated cotton to form a corresponding ester, a pyrazole, an ether, a diazo ketone, a stable carboxyl MOF or a stable MOF coated cotton fiber.

Abstract: Techniques for runtime customization and management of user interfaces for enterprise applications are disclosed. In some embodiments, the techniques include tools, systems, and processes for building frontend, technology-independent user interfaces. A system may consume user input files that are language dependent and generate a metadata file that is language independent. The metadata file may be updated to customize or otherwise modify a user interface of an application at runtime. An event signal may be raised to notify the application when a new user interface is available. In response to detecting the signal, the application may refresh the user interface, including the application page being currently viewed, to modify the set of user interface components that are rendered and displayed to the end user. The system may store metadata for multiple versions of the user interface to allow users to quickly roll back to prior versions of a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20230239195
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of addressing failures in a network comprising a computer with at least first and second network interface cards (NICs). The method designates the first and second NICs respectively as primary and secondary NICs of the computer and respectively assigns first and second network addresses to the first and second NICs. The method iteratively sends health monitoring messages to a set of one or more destinations through the first NIC using the first network address. Based on the health monitoring messages, the method detects a potential failure of an element in the network. Based on the detected potential failure, the method redesignates the first and second NICs respectively as secondary and primary NICs and respectively reassigns the first and second network addresses to the second and first NICs. The redesignation accounts for a possibility that the detected potential failure relates to the first NIC.

  • Publication number: 20230239233
Abstract: A system accesses a set of devices transferring a data element from a source device to a destination device. The system determines a transformation type implemented on the data element at each device. The system generates an array that uniquely defines the data element at each device. The array comprises the transformation type and an identifier of the device. The system generates a transformation dependency map that represents a set of transformation types implemented on the data element at different devices. The system determines a set of data transfer paths for the data element from the source device to the destination device based on the transformation dependency map. The system selects the shortest data transfer path for the data element that corresponds to the least number of hops between devices. The system communicates the data element from the source device to the destination device using the shortest data transfer path.

  • Publication number: 20230239229
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for detecting timestamp discontinuities and video resolution discontinuities within a packet stream and marking locations of the detected discontinuities within the packet stream are described. Prior to transmission of the packet stream, an electronic device may perform timestamp discontinuity detection by acquiring a sequence of packets to be transmitted, identifying a first timestamp associated with an earliest packet within the sequence of packets, identifying a second timestamp associated with a latest packet within the sequence of packets, determining a timestamp time difference between the first timestamp and the second timestamp, determining a maximum chunk time difference based on a data rate at which the sequence of packets were encoded and a data size of the encoded packets, and detecting that a timestamp discontinuity exists within the sequence of packets if the timestamp time difference is greater than the maximum chunk time difference.
