Abstract: A first forwarding VM may execute in a first availability zone and have a first IP address. Similarly, a second forwarding VM may execute in a second availability zone and have a second IP address. The first and second IP addresses may be recorded with a cloud DNS web service of a cloud provider such that both receive requests from applications directed to a particular DNS name acting as a single endpoint. A service cluster may include a master VM node and a standby VM node. An IPtable in each forwarding VM may forward a request having a port value to a cluster port value associated with the master VM node. Upon a failure of the master VM node, the current standby VM node may be promoted to execute in master mode and the IPtables may be updated to now forward requests having the port value to a cluster port value associated with the newly promoted master VM node (which was previously the standby VM node).

  • Publication number: 20230318787
Abstract: Acknowledgement feedback is conveyed to a network node for unicast and multicast transmissions received by a wireless device. The wireless device configures uplink control channel resources responsive to an uplink channel format indicated by an uplink channel format indicator. Each possible ACK or NAK combination for the unicast and multicast transmissions maps to a different cyclic shift of a base sequence defined according to the uplink control channel format. The wireless device receives a unicast transmission and a multicast transmission. Further, when in a joint acknowledgement mode, the wireless device configures acknowledgement feedback for the received unicast and multicast transmissions according to the cyclic shift mapping and jointly transmits the acknowledgement feedback for both the received unicast transmission and the received multicast transmission to the network node in an acknowledgement time slot.

Abstract: An electronic device having a digitally controlled resistor is provided. The digitally controlled resistor includes various switch-resistor segments between voltage nodes. In one embodiment, the switch-resistor segment may include a resistor and a switch coupled parallel to the resistor. In another embodiment, the switch-resistor segment may include a resistor, a complement switch coupled in series with the resistor, and a switch coupled parallel to the resistor and the complement switch. Each switch included in the switch-resistor segment operates based on digital bits. Based on the logic value (either ‘0’ or ‘1’) assigned, the switches turn ON (when logic value is ‘1’) and OFF (when logic value is ‘0’). In some embodiments, the switches and the resistor included in the switch-transistor segment are arranged in a symmetrical manner between voltage nodes.

  • Publication number: 20230315588
Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques for a hardware-based save-and-restore controller in an SoC. The described systems and techniques can automatically save and restore access control configurations (e.g., register states) of IP subsystems during a power-down and a power-up sequence, respectively. The save operation is initiated by a local save-and-restore (L SAR) controller and performed by the IP subsystems writing the configuration values to a central save-and-restore (C-SAR) controller before powering down a power domain. The C-SAR controller saves the configuration information in a memory located in an always-on power domain. The described systems and techniques initiate, via the L SAR controller, a restore operation as part of the power-up sequence. In this way, the described systems and techniques provide scalable save-and-restore services, support a large number of power domains, and allow a variable number of access control configurations to be saved and restored.

  • Publication number: 20230316698
Abstract: A monitoring system incorporates, and method and computer program product provide for learning about objects of interest to a person based on gaze direction. A controller of the monitoring system receives image stream(s) from a camera system of image capturing device(s) that capture a first image stream that encompasses eyes of a person and a second image stream that at least partially encompasses surrounding object(s) and surfaces viewable by the person. The controller determines a first region of interest (ROI) among the surrounding object(s) and surfaces that is aligned with an eye gaze direction of the person. The controller identifies an object contained within the first ROI. The controller determines an interest value of the object to the person, in part based on duration and/or frequency that the person gazes at the object. The controller stores the interest value along with identifying data of the identified object.

  • Publication number: 20230318856
Abstract: In interpreting a data record in a blockchain of a certain cryptographic asset, it is usually necessary to use the API of the node software provided by the developer of the software that devises the implementation method. However, since an input/output method of the API also differs depending on the implementation method, it is difficult to collect and analyze blockchain data of cryptographic assets according to a plurality of different implementation methods. The present invention provides a cryptographic asset blockchain processing apparatus or the like that collects blockchain data generated by a plurality of different implementation methods, converts the data into data that can be analyzed, and processes a transaction content such as a quantity, a unit price, and a partner of a transaction cryptographic asset into a standardized format, thereby improving convenience of analysis of a large amount of data for an accounting audit or the like.

  • Publication number: 20230316808
Abstract: A monitoring system incorporates, and method and computer program product provide a monitoring system that captures image stream of regions of interest based on identified facial cues of a person. A controller of the monitoring system receives a first image stream that encompasses a face of a person and a second image stream that encompasses surrounding object(s) and surface(s) viewable by the person. The controller detects a facial expression of the face. In response to determining that the facial expression is a mood associated expression, the controller determines, from the first image stream, an eye gaze direction of the person. The controller determines a region of interest (ROI) aligned with the eye gaze direction. The controller captures the second image stream and identifies an object contained within the ROI. The controller communicates a notification including the expression and the object within the ROI to an output device.
