    Abstract: In some examples, a circuit includes a capacitor having a first terminal and a second terminal, the first terminal coupled to a voltage supply terminal of the circuit. The circuit also includes a transistor having a transistor gate, a transistor drain, and a transistor source, the transistor source coupled to ground and the transistor drain coupled to an input terminal of the circuit. The transistor is configured to conduct responsive to a gate signal received at the transistor gate, the gate signal based on a signal provided at the second terminal of the capacitor. The circuit also includes a Schmitt trigger having a Schmitt trigger input coupled to the transistor drain.

Electrical through links connected to the second wiring pattern output electrical signals generated by the host chips through the backside surface of the bridge chip. The packaging structure includes substrate with a trench provided in the top surface of the substrate and the bridge chip disposed in the trench. The host chips are directly connected to the top surface of the bridge chip and the top surface of the substrate. Optical signals are output from the packaging structure through an opening in the bottom surface of the substrate.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a device obtains metrics for a plurality of network paths via which traffic for an online application may be conveyed. The device models, for each of the plurality of network paths, uncertainty of an application experience metric predicted for the online application across different values of one or more metrics for that path, based on its obtained metrics. The device generates, based on the uncertainty of the application experience metric modeled for each of the plurality of network paths, a load balancing schedule for the plurality of network paths, to maximize the application experience metric for the online application across the plurality of network paths and with a minimal amount of uncertainty. The device causes traffic for the online application to be load balanced across the plurality of network paths in accordance with the load balancing schedule.

    Abstract: A wireless communication network serves a wireless User Equipment (UE) over a higher-priority Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) and a lower-priority PLMN. The UE switches between the higher-priority PLMN at a wireless access node and the lower-priority PLMN at another access node. A network controller detects the excessive PLMN-switching and signals the UE to avoid the higher-priority PLMN until the wireless UE returns from idle mode. The wireless access node exchanges additional communications with the wireless UE over the lower-priority PLMN until the wireless UE enters the idle mode. The wireless access node may exchange additional communications with the wireless UE over the higher-priority PLMN after the UE returns from idle mode.

Long-range, low-power transmission may enable a transaction card to communicate with a financial institution server without internet or cellular connectivity. The transaction card may generate a first security key. The key may include a transaction timestamp, a random number generated by the transaction card microprocessor, a personal identifier received at the transaction card from a user, one or more card parameters, and/or any suitable factors. A long-range, low-power network server may detect the card transmission. The server may retrieve the card parameters and personal identifiers stored in association with a user account during card registration. The server may generate a second security key. Based on a match between the first security key and the second security key, the server may authenticate the transmission.
