  • Publication number: 20230155981
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for providing a service, e.g., a security service such as a firewall, across different virtual networks/VRFs/VPN IDs. The techniques and architecture provide modifications in enterprise computing fabrics by modifying pull-based overlay protocols such as, for example, locator/identifier separation protocol (LISP), border gateway protocol ethernet virtual private network (BGP EVPN), etc. A map request carries additional information to instruct a map-server that even though mapping (destination prefix and firewall service RLOC for the destination) is known within the map-server's own virtual network/VRF for firewall service insertion, the map-server still should do a lookup across virtual networks/VRFs and discover the final destination's DGT (destination group tag) and include that in the map reply.

  • Publication number: 20230156146
Abstract: A method performed by an electronic device for generating a slow motion video includes obtaining plural image frames captured at a frame rate from a camera of the electronic device, detecting motion information in a first image frame from among the plural image frames, and performing an interpolation operation using one or more image frames from among the plural image frames. The one or more image frames are image frames obtained during a predetermined time after the first image frame in which the motion information is detected. A second image frame obtained before the first image frame in which the motion information is detected is discarded from the electronic device. A third image frame obtained after the predetermined time from the first image frame in which the motion information is detected is discarded from the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20230156279
Abstract: Provided is a system that identifies a tag in a media content of a media stream based on a user-attribute of a client device. A candidate time-period is identified in a playback duration of the media content based on the identified tag in the media content. Based on a degree of correlation between the identified tag in the media content and a corresponding context for the media content at the candidate time-period, an overlay-graphic item corresponding to the identified tag is presented at the candidate time-period in the media content.

  • Publication number: 20230153477
Abstract: Embodiments include an interface processing system for displaying interrelated hierarchical building system models. The interface processing system can include memory and a processor allocation to load an executable asset from a data store to instantiate an instance of a building management service that can receive from a client application executing an operator interface on a client device, a request to display a visual representation of an asset located in a building. The service can query an asset database including structured data associated with the asset. Location data can be used to generate a digital model of a building system location associated with the asset. The building management service can retrieve structured model data for the asset and system level components and extract, from a set of asset schemas, a hierarchical relationship between the asset, locations and the system level components to generate an interactive visual representation of the building system location.

  • Publication number: 20230153453
Abstract: A method and system for determining whether a consensus has been achieved for adding a block to a distributed ledger. The system receives a candidate block to add to the distributed ledger and receives block approvals of approving participants for the candidate block. The system calculates a total block approval stake that the approving participants have in the distributed ledger. The system identifies a total stake that participants have in the distributed ledger. When the total block approval stake is at least a threshold fraction of the total skate, the system indicates that the consensus has been achieved for adding the candidate block to the distributed ledger.

  • Publication number: 20230153222
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and program products that can generate scaled-down load test models for testing real-world loads are disclosed herein. One method includes providing a test environment of a system including multiple nodes. The test environment includes virtual nodes corresponding to the system nodes and each virtual node functions under a virtual load similar to each corresponding node functioning under a real-world load. The method further includes utilizing a machine learning algorithm to repeatedly apply at least one virtual load to the virtual node(s) in the test environment until a scaled-down load test model mimicking the system under a pre-defined real-world load is generated. Here, the virtual load(s) applied to the virtual node(s) is/are comparatively smaller relative to each of corresponding real-world loads for the node(s) defining the pre-defined real-world load. Systems, apparatus, and program products that include and/or perform the methods are also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20230155618
Abstract: A receiver is provided that includes a plurality of sub-rate receiver lanes each of which is configured to receive an analog receive signal from an analog front-end and produce digital sub-rate receiver data. The receiver includes one or more first digital-to-analog converters (DACs) (also referred to herein as “average” DACs) shared across the plurality of sub-rate receiver lanes, and one or more second DACs (also referred to herein as “mismatch cancellation” DACs) for each sub-rate receiver lane of the plurality of sub-rate receiver lanes. The one or more second DACs of a respective sub-rate receiver lane provide output to be combined with an output of a corresponding one of the one or more first DACs during processing of the analog receive signal in the respective sub-rate receiver lane to account for a sub-rate receiver lane specific offset with respect to a corresponding one of the one or more first DACs.

  • Publication number: 20230155997
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing for trust in a distributed environment are disclosed. In a distributed environment, various devices may be remote to one another and may interact with one another via one or more operable connections. Through the operable connections, various communications may be exchanged. However, the operable connections may not natively support authentication of any particular device in the distributed system. Consequently, entities in the distributed system may not intrinsically trust that the communications received through the distributed environment are authentic. The entities of the system may mutually authenticate one another prior to trusting communications from the other entities. For example, in a scenario where a client wishes to access data hosted by a data source, the client and data source may go through a process of mutually authenticating one another. By doing so, a trusted environment may be established.
