  • Patent number: 9636987
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle is provided in which in the neutral range or the parking range, power can be generated in a first power generation mode by engaging an odd-numbered position clutch so as to transmit a driving force of an engine to a motor/generator via a first input shaft, and power can be generated in a second power generation mode by engaging an even-numbered position clutch so as to transmit the driving force of the engine to the motor/generator via reversing means and the first input shaft. Therefore, according to the status of the odd-numbered position clutch and the even-numbered position clutch, by engaging either one thereof, it becomes possible to generate power in the first power generation mode or the second power generation mode, thus enabling power to be supplied without interruption.

  • Patent number: 9227636
Abstract: A power transmission device includes a synchronous meshing mechanism, a braking mechanism, a shift mechanism, a parking gear, a parking mechanism, and a control unit. In the case where the shift mechanism is switched to a parking range, the control unit performs braking continuation processing for continuing the braking of the braking mechanism (step 4) regardless of a driver's braking operation, inhibits the rotation of the driven gear shaft by the parking mechanism, places a predetermined synchronous meshing mechanism in a connected state as a preparation for starting up the vehicle again, and then ends the braking continuation processing (step 5).

  • Patent number: 9067581
Abstract: An automatic transmission capable of causing first and second clutches and a connection/disconnection device to properly operate during stoppage of a vehicle, thereby enabling preventing vibration and improving marketability as well as obtaining excellent vehicle startability. When a shift position is switched to a forward travel position, first and second connection operations are executed for connecting transmission of a motive power of a prime mover, from first and second gear mechanisms to drive wheels, respectively, while changing the speed thereof. If the shift position is switched to the forward travel position and no request for a standing start of the vehicle is determined to be made by a driver, engagement of first and second gear clutches for connecting/disconnecting between the prime mover and the gear mechanisms is permitted when both the first and second connection operations have been completed.
