The computer system stores a healthcare information database and a medical-knowledge management database and includes an adjustment-coefficient calculating section that calculates, using the healthcare information database and the medical-knowledge-management database, an adjustment coefficient for adjusting costs of diagnostic treatment corresponding to the patient and a cost calculating section that calculates a cost using the calculated adjustment coefficient.

Abstract: The present invention is a system for supporting an evaluation of workflow step items on the basis of a workflow by classifying workflow steps so as to have a common medical-related work by using a medical information database in which a workflow, which is a flow of the medical-related work, and information on respective workflow steps are stored in association with medical information, creating workflow step items having a parent and child identifier identified between a parent department as a client and a child department as a requested party and the medical information, calculating a workflow step evaluation value, which is an evaluation value of the workflow step item on the basis of the clinical indicator of the workflow, and displaying the same on a screen.

Abstract: There is provided a medical examination assistance system that finds similar cases, acquires not only the disease state information of the similar cases but also the information referred to by medical professionals in medical examination of the similar cases, and displays them on the screen. Medical information of a workflow step preceding an ongoing workflow step is acquired using a medical information database in which the information of a workflow and each workflow step is registered so as to be associated with medical information and information referred to in each workflow step, medical information similar to the acquired medical information is extracted from the medical information database, and information referred to in a workflow step subsequent to a workflow step associated with the extracted medical information is acquired and displayed on the screen.

Abstract: Provided is a medical care support system for the sharing and reusing of medical information on the basis of a workflow which is a flow of medical-related services. A workflow step that was executed prior to an ongoing workflow step is selected by using a medical information database which has registered a workflow and information of each workflow step in association with medical information; and information is inputted by medical staff in the ongoing workflow step while the medical information registered in the selected workflow step being referred to; and the medical information being referred to and the inputted information are registered in the medical information database in association with the ongoing workflow step.

Abstract: In the process of a registration between first and second images captured by different image pickup apparatuses, even if corresponding parts have different pixel values, different shapes and different field of view, the registration can be carried out with high speed and high degree of precision. In order to perform the registration between the first and second images, either of the first and second images is divided into segmented regions, and given physical property values are set to the segmented regions. Further, an image (pseudo image) having similar pixel values, shapes and field of view to the other image is created, and the pseudo image and the second image that have the same features are positioned, thereby performing the registration between the first and second images.

Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a medical data analytic system which can efficiently generate relationships between data forming the evidence from large volumes of medical data, and support a doctor's diagnosis. The system includes a calculating device comprising a medical data analysis unit, a database comprising a medical data storage unit, and an input/output device comprising a condition input unit for inputting n diagnosis-related conditions. Depending on the aforesaid n conditions, the ratio of 2n groups of medical data for analysis corresponding to all combinations of conditions is calculated for the case when the conditions are satisfied and the case when they are not satisfied, and displayed on an output unit of the input/output device.
