The cover device includes a rear cover provided with a first antenna, and a front cover rotatably connected to the rear cover and provided with a second antenna communicating with the first antenna, in face to face relation, and an output unit outputting data through communication between the first and second antennas. The portable terminal includes a body, a cover unit detachably installed to the body and including an auxiliary output unit, and an antenna unit configured to output content of the body to the auxiliary output unit by pairing the body with the cover unit.

Abstract: A portable terminal includes an apparatus for photographing an image. The portable terminal can receive an image via a camera and recognize the received image through an image recognition process. The portable terminal can determine a photographing composition corresponding to the recognition result, and adjust an angle of the camera depending on the determined photographing composition.

Abstract: A user authentication method includes the steps of: inputting, by a user, a predetermined password having a plurality of digits; examining whether an input password includes an actual password that is predetermined by using less digits than the input password; authenticating the input password if the input password includes the actual password; and refusing to authenticate the input password if the input password does not include the actual password. The user authentication method using the password is very useful for reinforcing the security by applying a simple processing, not necessarily consuming high costs and much time. Further, even when the password may be exposed to others, it is still safe. Also, although a password may be used in many cases in common, the security still can be reinforced by differentiating the input password. Most of all, the user can remember the actual password very easily, and yet get the same effect with changing the password.

Abstract: Disclosed is a face image capturing device for guiding users to put their faces within a camera's field-of-view even at a relatively long distance from the camera and thereby capturing face images accurately. The device includes a light emitting device for emitting a light beam to enhance a field-of-view of the camera; a light guide path in close proximity to the camera; and guiding the light beam emitted from the light emitting device. Due to the light emitted straight forward from the end portion of the light guide path, users can first confirm the field-of-view of the camera even at a relatively long distance from the camera and then position their faces within the camera's field-of-view.

Abstract: A portable wireless terminal constructed with a first housing, a second housing which has a display device positioned on its surface that faces the first housing and is rotatably coupled to the first housing, and a third housing which has an auxiliary display device positioned on a surface thereof and is rotatably coupled to an end of the second housing in such a manner that the front and rear surfaces thereof can be reversed. The portable wireless terminal, which has a rotatable display device as above, can display images toward a user even when the second housing is opened. The terminal can be used for video communication in a convenient way, because all of the display devices provided on the terminal can be utilized during video communication, by positioning them in such a manner that they face the first housing. Furthermore, as the function of the terminal is more variously extended in the future, any limit on the display devices provided on the terminal can be avoided.
