  • Patent number: 11935980
Abstract: A filtering panel includes a molding layer part; a pattern layer part having an incident surface through which light emitted from a light source and viewing light transmitted to an observer enter, and an accommodation surface which is the reverse surface of the incident surface, wherein the molding layer part is stacked on the incident surface so as to be adjacent thereto, and the pattern layer part adjusts the optical paths of the emitted light and the viewing light; and a filtering layer part formed on a lower incident surface of the pattern layer part having the incident surface of the viewing light that enters from a lower region below a horizontal reference line, wherein the reflectivity of the visible light in the viewing light incident on the lower region is made greater than that of an upper region above the reference line by means of mirror reflection.

  • Patent number: 6328357
Abstract: An hand adjustable trim actuator for use with an exit device is provided. The trim actuator uses an actuator shaft with attached actuator gear to engage one of two sets of gear teeth on a linearly moveable retractor. Actuation of the door lever rotates a spindle which has two tabs, one of which pushes the retractor. The engagement of the retractor gear teeth with the actuator gear causes the actuator gear and actuator shaft to rotate which in turn operates the exit device. The actuator shaft and actuator gear are moveably linearly which permits the actuator gear to be disengaged from the retractor gear teeth. Once disengaged, the actuator gear can be rotated and moved into engagement with the other of the two sets of gear teeth, thereby changing the handing of the trim actuator.

  • Patent number: 6116661
Abstract: An electric dogging mechanism for an exit device consisting of slidable plate and armature which are attracted to an electric coil when the coil is energized. The slidable plate is connected to a touch bar mechanism. After the touch bar is depressed, retracting the exit device latch, the coil is energized attracting and holding the armature to the coil, thereby holding the touch bar depressed and the latch retracted by the connection of the slidable plate to the touch bar mechanism.
