  • Patent number: 8412969
Abstract: A computer system and overclock controlling method and program thereof, which includes steps of providing an overclock work voltage to a CPU when overclock is requested, then the CPU adjusts its clock domain according to the overclock work voltage. The overclock work voltage is a sum of a normal work voltage and an additional external voltage, by which the CPU may enter an overclock mode (a frequency of a clock domain signal is higher than a standard frequency value). Eventually, when the frequency of the clock domain signal of the CPU is in a stable status during the overclock mode, the work voltage for the CPU is reduced and the CPU keeps working in the overclock mode.

  • Publication number: 20070168566
Abstract: A memory card with an indicator light has a casing, a processor, an input/output (I/O) interface, memory and an indicator light module. The indicator light module is mounted in the casing and connected to the I/O interface and has an inductor, an LED and a resistor. The inductor is connected to the I/O interface and has an input end and an output end. The LED is mounted on the casing and connected to the output end of the inductor. The resistor is connected in series with the LED. When the LED is not on, electrical power is not being provided to the proper pin on the I/O interface from the digital device. Consequently, any fault observed when the LED is not on can be attributed to a fault in the digital device.

  • Patent number: 7097512
Abstract: A mini memory card adapter that receives a mini memory card (e.g. MicroFlash) to make it compatible with a standard memory card interface. The mini memory card adapter is comprised of a base, a cover and a connection module. A socket is defined at a proximal end of the base, and an inner wall of the socket has a positioning tab integrally formed thereon to fix an inserted memory card. A metal panel has a contact finger that electrically contacts a ground point to provide protection against EMI interference.

  • Publication number: 20060128231
Abstract: A memory card casing is composed of a top cover having multiple through holes defined in a peripheral edge of the top cover, and a bottom cover, wherein the bottom cover has multiple longitudinal ridges formed on a peripheral edge of the bottom cover, a first rib formed on the bottom cover to connect to one end of each of the longitudinal ridges and a second rib formed on the bottom cover to connect to the other end of each of the longitudinal ridges so that after a printed circuit board is inserted into a receiving space between the bottom cover and the top cover, contacts on the printed circuit board are exposed via the through holes of the top cover and fully supported by the longitudinal ridges.
