    Abstract: An exemplary remote control apparatus includes a light source, a control module, an image sensing module, an image processing module and a communication module. The control module is separated from the light source, moveable by a user, and configured for receiving light beams from the light source in an incident direction and reflecting the light beams in a direction anti-parallel to the incident direction. The image sensing module senses images formed by light beams reflected by the control module. The image processing module processes images sensed by the image sensing module and generates a control signal associated with a movement of the control module imparted by the user. The communication module outputs the control signal to control the information technology system. A remote control system using the remote control apparatus is also provided.

    Abstract: A camera module includes a lens assembly, a lens barrel, an image sensor, a hollow holder receiving the lens barrel and the image sensor, and a thermally deformable member. The lens assembly defines a first focal length with a first focus point at a first temperature and a second focal length with a second focus point at a second temperature on an optical axis associated therewith. The thermally deformable member has one end attached to the lens barrel and an opposite end attached to the holder. The thermally deformable member comprises a first sheet and a second sheet. Wherein at the second temperature, the second sheet bends toward the first sheet thereby moving the second focus point toward the first focus point and the image plane of the lens assembly with the second focal length toward the image sensor.

A distance X from the point light source (10) to the first lens (22) and the second lens (32) is determined based on the ratio of D1 to F1 and the ratio of D2 to F2.

    Abstract: An exemplary glue dispensing process is provided. A lens module including a lens barrel and an annular spacer received in the lens barrel is provided. The lens module is rotated around a central axis of the lens barrel in a manner such that rotational speed of the lens module is variable in an initial stage and is essentially constant in a subsequent steady stage. Whether the rotational speed of the lens module is in the initial stage or the subsequent steady stage is then detected. A first operating pressure and a second operating pressure different from the first operating pressure are applied onto the glue to dispense the glue onto the spacer during one revolution of the lens module, corresponding to both the rotational speed of the initial stage and the subsequent steady stage.
