The refrigeration chip is formed on and electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The refrigeration chip comprises a cold surface. The sensor is formed on the cold surface. The cold surface is configured to absorb heat from the sensor when the refrigeration chip is powered on. The camera module is capable of dissipating heat and controlling an internal temperature of the camera module.

The system includes a state estimation observer that computes an estimated velocity based on an inertia-damping response to the dynamics of the motor shaft, a torque command signal, and the compensated command signal. This compensated signal comes from a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller that determines a difference between a sensed position and an estimated position. The estimated position is determined by the estimated velocity and an integrator. The control system may also include a motor-velocity based lowpass filter which applies a filter to the estimated velocity.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for a synchronized high-flow mode are disclosed. In examples, the synchronized high-flow mode varies the flow of breathing gases delivered to the patient to account of changes in a patient's peak inspiratory flow demand, improve the accuracy of measured partial pressure of CO2, maintain a more consistent distending pressure, reduce entrainment of room air, and enhance patient synchronization. In an example, a synchronized high-flow mode provides a baseline flow and increases the delivered flow above the baseline flow when the patient's demand exceeds a threshold. In this way, a synchronized high-flow mode may deliver a variable, or time-varying, flow based on the patient demand. Additionally, a minimum baseline flow may be selected and adjusted to maintain a minimum PEEP level.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for non-invasively estimating intrapleural pressure and muscle pressure are disclosed. The disclosed estimation of intrapleural pressure functions in the presence of a leak and/or leak-compensated flow and does not require a maneuver. In examples, the muscle pressure is represented as a muscle pressure model with model parameters that are unique from breath to breath. An equation of motion relates the muscle pressure, respiratory mechanics, and measured ventilation data (e.g., airway pressure and flow). Based on past measured ventilation data, values for the respiratory mechanics and the model parameters are estimated. Constraints may be set on these values. An intrapleural pressure profile may be generated for past inhalation phases, based on the past measured ventilation data and the estimated model parameters and/or the estimated respiratory mechanics. The estimated respiratory mechanics may be used for real-time estimates of intrapleural pressure with real-time ventilation data.

    Abstract: An integrator and an analog-to-digital converter are provided. The analog-to-digital converter includes the integrator, a comparison circuit and a control logic circuit. The integrator includes an operational amplifier, offset capacitors, input capacitors, integral capacitors and controllable switches. The input capacitors and the integral capacitors are connected to the operational amplifier via controllable switches, so that the integrator operates in various operation modes.
