    Abstract: A backlight module including a light source, a light guide plate, a lamp reflector and a frame is provided. The light source is disposed at a first side of the light guide plate, and surrounded by the lamp reflector and the light guide plate. The lamp reflector includes a metal substrate and a reflective material layer, and the metal substrate includes a main body and an extended part. The extended part is connected to the main body and disposed under the light guide plate. The reflective material layer is disposed on the main body, and between the main body and the light source, and the light source is surrounded by the reflective material layer and the light guide plate. The light guide and the lamp reflector are disposed on the frame. The backlight module has a better heat dissipation efficiency and lower manufacturing cost.

    Abstract: A platform scanner is proposed to serve for a learning aid tool for kids of school age to learn words or painting. The platform scanner comprises a housing and a scanning carrier, in which an opaque handwriting board is disposed on an outside portion of the housing, and the scanning carrier is located on the handwriting board. Moreover, a transmission shaft is arranged in a direction parallel with the handwriting board, and one end of the scanning carrier is mounted on the transmission shaft so that the scanning carrier can be horizontally moved along the transmission shaft for scanning and reading data on the handwriting board.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a universal Contact Image Sensor (CIS) carriage for a flatbed scanner which can be adapted to various guiding and supporting structures, thereby to simplify the structure of the scanner and reduce the manufacture cost and maintenance fee. The CIS carriage consists of a bar-shaped carriage for holding a CIS module, a plurality of elastic elements, and a CIS module. The CIS carriage is lifted up to contact tightly with the bottom surface side of the sheet table to assure the sheet in focus, thereby to generate stable picture quality of images.

    Abstract: A mother board assembly includes a mother board which has a top face and a first connector mounted on the top face. A first mounting seat is mounted on the top face on one side of the first connector and includes at least one resilient first positioning member which is substantially C-shaped. The first positioning member defines a first groove and has two spaced free ends. A second mounting seat is mounted on the top face on the other side of the first connector and includes at least one second positioning member which has a substantially U-shaped retaining portion that defines a second groove. A curved plate portion extends from the retaining portion in a direction away from the first mounting seat. An interface card has a front end, a rear end, a bottom face and a second connector mounted on the bottom face between the front and rear ends.
