The method includes determining, when detecting a touch point in a display area on a touch screen, whether the touch point is within an invalid touch area based on the detected touch point in the display area; and making a response to the touch point only if it is determined that the touch point is not within the invalid touch area. If it is determined that the touch point is within the invalid touch area, no response to the touch point is made.
