  • Publication number: 20240071523
Abstract: A memory device and a programming method thereof are provided. The programming method includes the following steps. According to a step value, based on an incremental step pulse programming scheme, multiple programming operations are performed for a selected memory page. In a setting mode, multiple program verify operations are respectively performed corresponding to the programming operations to respectively generate multiple pass bit numbers. In the setting mode, a pass bit number difference value of two pass bit numbers corresponding to two programming operations is calculated. In the setting mode, an amount of the step value is adjusted according to the pass bit number difference value.

  • Publication number: 20140266739
Abstract: A health monitoring and warning system includes a cloud computing unit, a vehicle scheduling unit and a vehicle with a warning unit. An operator of the vehicle wears a healthcare monitoring device for measuring the physical condition thereof. The cloud computing unit monitors the physical condition of the operator and judges the physical condition is normal or not based on the data measured by the health monitoring chip. When the cloud computing unit judges the physical condition is abnormal, it transmits a warning signal to the vehicle scheduling unit and transmits a start signal to activate the warning unit, thereby warning the operator, passengers and people adjacent to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8386003
Abstract: A portable medical device has a medical measuring apparatus and an elastic mounting portion. The medical measuring apparatus has a body. The body has a mounting mechanism. The elastic mounting portion is arched, adapted to be mounted around a subject's wrist or arm and has two edges and an attaching mechanism. The two edges are opposite to each other and define a gap for placement of the subject's wrist or arm. The attaching mechanism detachably engages the mounting mechanism of the body of the medical measuring apparatus. Thus the portable medical device is convenient for daily use and for carrying on a subject by simply mounting around the subject's wrist or arm by the elastic mounting portion.

  • Patent number: 8382367
Abstract: A probe for an ear thermometer has a mounting bracket, a light module, a temperature sensor and a probe tube. The light module and temperature sensor is mounted on the mounting bracket. The light module is capable of radiating different colored lights to respectively indicate normal or abnormal body temperature. The probe tube covers the light module and temperature sensor and is light-pervious. Because the probe of the ear thermometer indicates the body temperature by different colored lights and/or numerals, using the ear thermometer with the probe is easy, simple and instinctive when compared to conventional thermometers that use LCD display to show numerical values.

  • Patent number: 7810992
Abstract: This invention provides a non-contact temperature-measuring device including a distance sensor unit, an alarm unit, a temperature sensor unit, a microprocessor unit and a display unit. The distance sensor unit measures the distance between the device and a target. The alarm unit gives an alarm when the distance sensor unit measures a predetermined distance value. The temperature sensor unit measures a temperature of the target after the alarm unit gives the alarm. The microprocessor unit stores data of the predetermined distance value and the temperature value measured by the temperature sensor unit; the microprocessor unit also processes a distance signal emitted by the distance sensor unit and a temperature signal emitted by the temperature sensor unit. When the target's distance value equals the predetermined distance value, the microprocessor unit will further send a command for the alarm unit to give an alarm.

  • Publication number: 20060198424
Abstract: A probe structure for an ear thermometer includes a housing, a sleeve component, a sensor unit and a holding component. The housing has a first containing room to contain the sleeve component having a second containing room. The sleeve component has a front end formed with a reflective surface. The sensor unit is placed inside the second containing room and has a window, via which the sensor unit detects heat radiation. The sleeve component is used to lower heat radiation impact upon the sensor unit and prevent inexact measurements by the sensor unit caused by detecting objects other than the measured object. The sleeve component helps to reflect heat radiation from the measured object to the infrared sensor. This sensor unit functions well even though it is not disposed at the front most end of the probe. The holding component has one end against the bottom of the sensor unit.
