    Abstract: Provided are processes for preparing alpha, beta-unsaturated functional compounds using four major reaction steps: 1) air oxidation of an iso-paraffin to a mixture of alkyl hydroperoxide and alcohol; 2) converting the alkyl hydroperoxide and alcohol to dialkyl peroxide; 3) oxidative cross-coupling between a primary or secondary alcohol and a compound comprising at least one R3CH2- (R3=hydrogen or an optionally substituted hydrocarbyl) moiety to afford a coupled product using the dialkyl peroxide as a radical initiator, while the dialkyl peroxide is converted to a tertiary alcohol; 4) dehydration of the coupled product to yield an alpha, beta-unsaturated functional compound.

    Abstract: Techniques for enhancing performance in Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) scenarios, including techniques for time-sensitive networking (TSN) and 5G wireless network integration. An example method, performed by a wireless device, comprises receiving system information (SI) from a radio base station (RBS) of a radio access network (RAN), the SI being indicative of support for TSN through the RBS, and establishing at least one TSN stream with an external data network, through the RBS. The example method further includes receiving a first timing signal from the wireless communications network, via the RBS, receiving a second timing signal from the external TSN data network to which the wireless device is connected, comparing the first timing signal to the second timing signal to determine an offset, and transmitting the offset to the wireless communications network.

In the present invention, combined with the fractal geometry theory, fracture complexity coefficient of shale rocks is redefined and calculated to accurately characterize rock fracture morphology, so that characteristics of rock fracture morphology is correctly understood and affecting factors of fracture morphology is analyzed.
