Abstract: A system for extracting analogous queries is disclosed. The system includes a search query extracting module, a query pair extracting module, and an analogous query extracting module. The search query extracting module creates a per-user search query DB by reading search queries inputted by users from a search log DB that contains user device identifiers, search queries inputted from user devices, and information about time when the users request a search. The query pair extracting module creates a per-user query pair DB by extracting, from the per-user search query DB, permutations of different two search queries among search queries inputted by a specific user. The analogous query extracting module reads query pairs having a specific query in the per-user query pair DB, and creates analogous queries by extracting counterparts of a specific query from the query pairs. The analogous queries are provided in response to a search request for a specific query from the user device.

Abstract: A spelling correction system and method are provided. The system includes at least an input unit, a correct keyword candidate determining unit, and a misspelling correction unit. In the method, the input unit detects an input keyword entered by a user. If the input keyword is a misspelled keyword, the correct keyword candidate determining unit selects one or more correct keyword candidates for the input keyword and then returns the selected correct keyword candidates. The misspelling correction unit obtains a misspelling appearance probability of a pair of the input keyword and each correct keyword candidate, and also obtains a word appearance probability of each correct keyword candidate. Then the misspelling correction unit selects a specific correct keyword from among the correct keyword candidates by using the misspelling appearance probability and the word appearance probability.

Abstract: A system and method provide predictive queries associated with a search query entered by a user even though such a query input is entered incompletely. In addition, even in case a user enters incompletely a wrong query, the system and method provide predictive queries based on a correct query by using index information derived from calculation in the probability of a correct query.

Abstract: A system for separating documents is disclosed. The system includes a multidimensional index creating module and a document separation criterion calculating module. The multidimensional index creating module calculates a multidimensional index for each documental material by calculating a plurality of document characteristic indexes from content information about individual documental materials contained in a primary document search result obtained in response to a search query received from a user device. The document separation criterion calculating module calculates a document separation criterion on the basis of both user preference information regarding at least one specific documental material selected from the documental materials contained in the primary document search result and the multidimensional index for the selected specific documental material.
