  • Publication number: 20240095257
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for data migration readiness of a target data source are disclosed. A processor invokes, in response to triggering a process, an application programming interface (API) to call corresponding source application or microservice hosted on a source database; updates, by the source application or microservice, the source database to reflect the changes made to one or more fields data of user profile; generates a mapping identifier (ID) in response to updating the source database; stores the mapping ID onto a mapping database in a predefined format; invokes another API call to obtain source table field details of the updated source database and the mapping ID that maps source column of the source table to a corresponding target column of a target table of a target database; and automatically updates the target database to match the updated data of the source database based on the mapping ID.

  • Patent number: 11277407
Abstract: Examples described relate to disabling of MAC address aging time for an IoT device on a network switch. In an example, in response to a device joining a network, a network switch in the network may determine a media access control (MAC) address of the device. The network switch may then send the MAC address to an authentication server. In response, the network switch may receive a Vendor Specific Attribute (VSA) associated with the MAC address from the authentication server. The VSA indicates that the MAC address relates to an IoT device. Based on the VSA, the network switch may recognize the MAC address of the device as a MAC address of the IoT device. In response to recognizing, the network switch may disable MAC address aging time for the MAC address of the IoT device on the network switch.

  • Patent number: 10616220
Abstract: A method, executable by a switch to automatically onboard end devices connected thereto, comprises detecting that an end device has connected to the switch, and determining a device identity of the connected end device. The determined device identity is used to obtain a configuration template profile associated with the connected end device. The switch is configured using the obtained configuration template profile.

  • Patent number: 9858600
Abstract: A system for creating and using a universal tag to gather consumer data from a website for the purposes of targeted advertising is provided. The universal tag system has two main subsystems. The first subsystem is a configuration system that is used to define the consumer data to be collected from the website and to define taxonomy and transformation rules to be applied to the collected consumer data. The second subsystem is a runtime system that runs a universal tag client-side script, which is triggered when a consumer lands on a webpage of the website, for collecting the defined consumer data. The runtime system then applies the transformation rules to the collected data and updates a user profile corresponding to the consumer with the transformed data. As well, the runtime system applies the taxonomy rules to the collected data and categorizes the consumer for the purposes of subsequent targeted advertising.
