Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for detecting a table from a document, classifying each cell of the table as one of: a value cell, a row header cell, or a column header cell, and performing a bounding box elongation operation to match each cell that is classified as a value cell to a first corresponding cell that is identified as a row header cell and a second corresponding cell that is identified as a column header cell. For each cell classified as a value cell, a data tuple is generated comprising a row header element, a column header element, and a value element, wherein the row header element corresponds to a first value in the first corresponding cell, the column header element corresponds to a second value in the second corresponding cell, and the value element corresponds to a third value in the value cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed processing a document. A method includes receiving, by a processor coupled to a memory, layout information for two or more layouts of a document, each layout of the two or more layouts having a layout bounding box. The method includes identifying, by the processor, one or more areas of overlap between the layout bounding boxes of each layout, respectively. The method includes identifying, by the processor, content associated with each area of overlap. Further, the method may include use the layout information, the areas of overlap, and the identified content associated with each area of overlap as inputs to a machine learning model. Further, the method may include receiving, by the processor from the machine-learning model, a layout bounding box configuration for one or more of the layouts of the document. Further, the method may include apply the layout bounding box configuration to the document.

Abstract: A computer-implemented user profiling system includes a human communication retrieval component which, for an entity employing a business process management system, captures communication data in response to a given business process being implemented by the business process management system. A human task monitoring and contextual analysis component captures user behavior information associated with the business process. A profile analysis engine is also included, which receives the user behavior information and communication data and updates a user profile corresponding to at least one of the users, based on the user behavior information and communication data.

Abstract: A method of generating a business process model includes receiving a description of a select business process in electronic form, processing the description of the select business process at the computerized system using a natural language processing algorithm to parse business activities from the description, searching a business concept repository using a search engine for existing business concept models related to each business activity parsed from the description, and displaying each existing business concept model resulting from the searching in a graphical representation for manipulation by a process designer using a business concept manipulation tool to form a specific business process model for the select business process. The select business process is associated with a domain-specific business type. A computerized system for designing and modeling business processes for use in business process management is also provided.

Abstract: a computer-implemented business process monitoring system includes a set of concept probes. Each concept probe is communicatively connected to a monitoring component of an associated business process management (BPM) infrastructure. In response to the BPM infrastructure deploying a domain-specific business process activity—including at least one manual task—each concept probe queries the BPM infrastructure for manual task information associated with execution of the business process activity. In response to receiving the manual task information from the BPM infrastructure and activity information acquired from an associated second probe connected to the BPM infrastructure, each concept probe correlates the manual task information with the activity information. Each concept probe generates monitoring information based on the correlated data.
