  • Patent number: 9941618
Abstract: Having an advantage in user convenience, an electrical connector for connecting with an electrical cable under a do-it-yourself scenario is provided, where the cable has a knot at a cable end. The connector comprises a connector body and a cover. The connector body has an internal space for housing the knot, an opening for allowing the cable end to access the internal space, and an outlet for allowing the cable to run from the internal space to outside the connector body. The cover has a top plate for covering the opening. In particular, the cover includes two wings protruded from the top plate collectively for claiming the knot to secure the knot inside the internal space. A separation of the two wings is advantageously selected to be 2 times to 3 times of a cross-sectional width of the outlet for producing a clamping effect on the knot.

  • Publication number: 20160069017
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a moisture transferable textile sheet of single layer. The moisture transferable textile sheet according to the present invention, hygroscopicity polymers are conformally coated on a top layer, and water-repellenting composition is partially coated on a bottom layer. Water in contact with the bottom layer is rapidly absorbed in the hygroscopicity polymers by a water-repellenting layer, so that water is transferred in one direction.

  • Publication number: 20030181118
Abstract: A one-way quick absorption and drying fabric is provided. The fabric has a back layer made of a hydrophobic yarn, and a surface layer made of a moisture absorbing yarn. The back layer pushes moisture and the surface layer absorbs moisture so that moisture is absorbed in one-way. The moisture absorbing yarn may be an irregular yarn having a irregular cross section that has three or more channels, a hydrophilic yarn such as cotton, rayon or wool having a moisture regain greater than about 8%, or a circular polyester or polyamide yarn that has been moisture absorption treated. The hydrophobic yarn has a moisture regain that is less than about 1% and may be made of polyolefin, polyester or polyamide. The yarn may also be water repellant finished.

  • Patent number: 5863868
Abstract: A SQUID 10 was multiple junctions, each junction allowing a critical current to flow therethrough. The SQUID 10 comprises a laminar structure including: (a) a substantially planar substrate 12; (b) a first high temperature superconductive layer 14 of substantially uniform thickness deposited on the substrates; (c) a dielectric layer 16 deposited on the first superconductive layer 14, the dielectric layer 16 comprising a planar level segment 18 having two ramp segments defining SQUID junctions at opposing ends 20 and defining SQUID hole; and (d) a second high temperature superconductive layer 24 of substantially uniform thickness deposited on the dielectric layer 16, the second high temperature superconductive layer 24 covering all three segments of the dielectric layer 16.

  • Patent number: 5780314
Abstract: A superconductive electrical device is operable simultaneously at relatively higher temperatures, i.e., 60-90K, and at relatively lower temperatures, i.e., less than 12K. The device comprises a non-superconductive substrate with two regions, a first relatively high temperature region and a second relatively low temperature region. A high temperature superconductor is on the first region and a portion of the second region. A dielectric layer is on the high temperature superconductor. A low temperature superconductor is on the second region of the substrate and on a portion of the dielectric layer. Integrated circuit chips can be secured to both superconductors, thereby yielding a superconductive multi-chip module operable at two different temperatures, such as in a cryo-cooler with two temperature stages.
