  • Patent number: 7400073
Abstract: A motor terminal portion structure is provided which can satisfactorily drain the water in an insulating member surrounding the outer circumference of a terminal and prevent water from entering the insulating member, in addition to allowing the insulating member to be commoditized without being influenced by motor layout. A motor terminal portion structure includes an insulator that is formed in a cylindrical shape surrounding the outer circumference of a terminal and is secured to a bracket. A drain hole is provided to establish communication between the inside and outside of the insulator. A flange portion shields an opening of the drain hole on the outside of the insulator. A plurality of the drain holes are disposed around the terminal. The outer side surface of the insulator and the inside surface of the flange portion are each formed in regular polygon so as to conform to each other. A portion of the flange portion facing vertically downward in an on-board state is formed as a notch.

  • Publication number: 20070039443
Abstract: A movable unit, a fixed unit, and advance/retreat units are supported by a supporting structure. The supporting structure includes a base plate, a top plate, a front plate, and a rear plate. Between the front plate and the rear plate of the supporting structure, supporters of the movable unit are fixed by bolts, and supporters of the fixed unit are fixed by bolts above the movable unit. This prevents the axes of a fixed unit and a movable unit from being misaligned with each other. In addition, it also prevents looseness from being generated between the both units, thus preventing the life span of blades from being shortened.

  • Patent number: 7048420
Abstract: A turn indicator light and a position light are provided for a rear mirror assembly mounted in a vehicle body. A light body for the turn indicator light is a filament light bulb and a light body for the position light is a light emitting diode. Positioning the lights in the rear mirror permits the width of the vehicle to be more recognizable. The turn indicator light and the position light are provided with individual light bodies, respectively, for allowing independent service to be performed with respect to each light.

  • Patent number: 6957903
Abstract: A tail lamp apparatus is provided which makes it possible to assemble a position lamp and a stop lamp readily to a fairing and is superior in visibility from the backward. A tail lamp includes an upper lamp portion and a lower lamp portion. An LED serving as a position lamp is provided on the upper lamp portion, and a plurality of LEDs serving as a stop lamp are provided on the lower lamp portion. A board for mounting the LEDs thereon is disposed in a stepwise configuration and is disposed in a V shape such that it envelopes the tail lamp from below. A base having a reflector for the LED at a portion thereof and holding the board thereon has a peripheral edge formed as a flat face so as to facilitate coupling of the base to a rear body cover.

  • Patent number: 4838113
Abstract: A throttle mechanism for a vehicle employing a handle grip for steering where the throttle lever is controlled by manual actuation. A shield plate may be provided on the throttle lever to physically block the air flow against the vehicle from flowing directly over the operator's thumb actuating the throttle. Heating elements may be provided to heat a cover on the throttle lever which in turn heats the driver's hand. Heat controlling circuits to effectively reduce the heating input at high temperatures, multiple circuits for both rapid and slow heating and circuitry associated with the vehicle lighting switches may be employed.
