  • Patent number: 7501083
Abstract: An object is to provide an injection molding machine and an injection molding method which can shorten the molding cycle without deteriorating accuracy in transfer of a pattern of an information surface of a stamper and without deteriorating optical characteristics. The injection molding machine includes mold closing processing means for performing mold closing; movable-platen-position determination means for determining whether or not a movable platen (23) has reached an injection start position (Sb) set between a mold opening limit position and a mold closing limit position; and injection processing means for starting an injection step when the movable platen (23) reaches the injection start position (Sb) . In this case, since the injection step is started before the movable platen reaches the mold closing limit position, the molding cycle can be shortened by an amount corresponding to a time by which the start of the injection step is advanced.

  • Patent number: 4988569
Abstract: The present invention discloses a phosphate adsorbent comprising an MgO-TiO.sub.2 complex as an active ingredient and a phosphate adsorbent having said complex deposited on active carbons. In the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the MgO/TiO.sub.2 molar ratio in the complex is in the range of 99.99/0.01 to 80/20, the specific surface area of the adsorbent as measured by BET method is in the range of 50 to 700 m.sup.2 /g. and the absorbent shows a crystal diffraction pattern of MgO in powder X-ray diffractometry. The phosphate adsorbent according to the present invention is useful as an antihyperphosphoremial agent, an adsorbent for hemoperfusion and a therapeutical agent for renal diseases.

  • Patent number: 4681764
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a novel porous and spherical carbonaceous product having acidic groups, basic groups, phenolic hydroxyl groups and carboxyl groups as functional groups at the following relationships:(1) the equivalent ratio of the acidic groups to the basic groups is in the range of 0.40 to 2.5 and(2) the value obtained by subtracting the amount of the carboxyl groups from the sum of the amounts of the basic groups and the phenolic hydroxylic groups is larger than 0.60, wherein the amount of the above-mentioned functional groups is expressed by milliequivalent/g of the product. The novel porous and spherical carbonaceous product having its groups in the above-mentioned relationships exhibits a specific adsorptive capability in living bodies and particularly useful as a pharmaceutical for treating diseases of the liver and kidney after administered orally.
