  • Publication number: 20040029533
Abstract: A wireless transmitting apparatus according to the present invention, comprising: N (N is two or more integer) pieces of antennas capable of transmitting a wireless signal; and a selector which selects L (L is one or more integer, and L≦N) pieces of antennas from said N pieces of antennas and selects the types of signals to be transmitted from the selected L pieces of antennas.

  • Publication number: 20030036404
Abstract: A station determines the presence/absence of directional beam control in an access point, on the basis of received power measured when data transmitted from the access point are received, and the type of the received data. In accordance with the result of this determination, the station controls transmitting power to transmit data to the access point.

  • Publication number: 20020181492
Abstract: The wireless communication apparatus includes transmitter modules and receiver modules for carrying out transmission/reception via a plurality of antenna beams formed by an adaptive array antenna between stations. The apparatus is provided with an end time detecting section and a maximum reception end time is detected by detecting section based on reception signals on the receiver modules. A reception end signal is generated from a notifying section, when current time counted by a counter is reached to the maximum reception end time. The transmission enabling section causes the transmitter modules to transmit data in response to the reception end signal.

  • Publication number: 20010004604
Abstract: This is a radio communication system having a radio base station controller 20 which is connected to a plurality of base stations 10n−1, 10n and 10n+1, and then assigns a fixed channel to each of radio mobile stations 18a, 18b and 18c, and further controls the beam patterns of the radio base stations 10n−1, 10n and 10n+1, and accordingly carries out the radio communications with the radio mobile stations 18a, 18b and 18c. The radio base station controller 20, when transmitting to and receiving from the different radio mobile stations 18a, 18b and 18c to which the same channel is assigned, controls the beam patterns so that the channels do not interfere with each other.
