Abstract: An object determining apparatus includes a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to detect an object from image data obtained by imaging, acquire information about orientation of the object from the image data, determine a main object in the image data using a detection result of the object and the information about the orientation, and change a condition for determining the main object according to one of the detection result of the object and the information about the orientation, using the other of the detection result of the object and the information about the orientation.

Abstract: An apparatus configured to perform focus tracking on an object within a detection area to detect a defocus amount within an imaging angle of view includes a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform focus tracking determination to determine whether or not the focus tracking is to be performed using information about the defocus amount, and acquire information about a shield against the object from image data generated by imaging. The processor is configured to perform the focus tracking determination using information about the shield acquired in the detection area.

Abstract: An interlocking device for a HIP equipment that prevents possible damage to the HIP equipment arising from use of a furnace or processing gas in error and can control the oxygen concentration and pressure within the HIP equipment. The device includes a sensor for detecting a concentration of oxygen in the processing gas in a processing gas pipe system. If the sensor detects an excessively high oxygen concentration, a supply side interlocking mechanism closes a valve for the pipe system and disconnects a power source for a furnace in a high pressure vessel. A flow switch is connected to a safety pipe system having a safety device, and a thermocouple is provided for each of the safety and processing gas pipe systems and a relief pipe system.

Abstract: A press device which is reduced in overall height thereof and in deformation of a press frame and can sufficiently support an eccentric load thereto. The press device comprises a press force generating unit disposed in a press frame and including a lid member secured to the press frame, a cross head having a cylinder chamber in which the lid member is fitted for axial sliding movement and having a blank holder at an end face thereof remote from the lid member, and a pressurizing member fitted for axial sliding movement in a portion of the cylinder chamber remote from the lid member. A shaping element is disposed in the press frame in an opposing relationship to the press force generating unit and has a shaping portion in which the pressurizing member is fitted.
